Bought a suv less than a month ago . They were quick to make a sale and rushed me and I fell for it. Then get car home and pop the hood and the entire engine covered in some kind mud . H They were quick to make a sale and rushed me and I fell for it. Then get car home and pop the hood and the entire engine covered in some kind mud . Horrible. Also the finance guy was horrible and so rude . Almost walked out but my sales guy got a different man to handle my finance. Interior of car also was just wiped down not detailed . Then the drivers door wouldn’t engage to open from inside. Brought the car in to be fixed at Kunes get there and they said it won’t be done for hours after I received a text the day earlier saying I could wait . Today I just dropped car off at 7:30 so we will see how long this takes. I have attached photos for reference from my review. Paid over $17,000 for this suv and it’s been a nightmare dealing with Kunes. Also the dealership told me they would clean the engine when I got my door fixed and they told me today they are not doing that. I think they never even inspected the vehicle before selling to me . Hopefully I’m safe driving it ! I should of read reviews before my purchase! More

I spoke with Robert on the phone on a Monday to see if I could place a hold on the vehicle until wednesday by leaving a $500 deposit via credit card. Robert said he had to check with his manager. Robert came back to the call and said the $500 down was acceptable. I gave Robert my credit card info, he said he made the charge and a hold is on the vehicle. The next day I checked my bank account and no charge was made or was pending. I called back and spoke with a manager who told me that is not in there policy. I spoke with Robert on Wednesday about taking down my credit card info and the charge/vehicle hold that never happened. Robert kept changing his story saying he didn't take down the credit card number anywhere...then he said he typed it in...then he said he "ripped it up and threw it away". More
Joseph is a fast talker and acts like he really cares about his customers. I was looking for a new Ford Escape as I had totaled my older model the week prior. He was pleasant to work with at first and no about his customers. I was looking for a new Ford Escape as I had totaled my older model the week prior. He was pleasant to work with at first and not too pushy. I realize that "new" vehicles are almost impossible to locate right now but I had specific options in mind and he indicated that he would be able to find me something on one of their other car lots. Initially he said that they could get me the vehicle I wanted in black. I was fine with that. He called me the next day and said that this particular vehicle wasn't available in the short timeframe that I required. He said that he could get me the exact same vehicle in white, but with a light colored interior color scheme. I was worried about it being a dirt magnet but he offered to have it coated with a protectant at Kunes expense (which I agreed to). I was over-the-moon happy at this point. I picked up my new vehicle the next day after test driving it with Joseph and dealing with a very offensive, pushy and too much cologne wearing F & I manager. One of the things that sold me on Kunes was that they supposedly have a lifetime powertrain warranty on all new vehicles purchased through them (this was relayed to me by Joseph). Never once did he mention that I needed to have all of my service performed by their dealership. I live in Kenosha and there's no way that I want to travel all the way to Antioch for service. Also snuck in without my knowledge was a $1299.00 charge for ceramic coating that I never asked for nor wanted. I asked for the window sticker and Joseph printed out a copy for me. I asked for the original and he informed me that it was in the glovebox of my new vehicle. In essence, never once did I have the opportunity to look at it as Joseph kept the copy in his possession. I was only shown a summary of charges, which was where I noticed the ceramic coating charge that I had them delete. I took my new vehicle to the grocery store the next day only to observe while loading my groceries that my new vehicle is not equipped with a towing package. This was one of my main requirements! I was assured that this vehicle came with the towing package! I guess it's my fault too that I didn't inspect the vehicle more thoroughly. I just have the feeling that Joseph knew this all along. Word to the wise...don't let the Christian music playing in their dealership fool you. More
I would not send my worst enemy here! They would not honor the warranty until I contacted Ford Motor Company. They refuse to answer any call, all calls go to VM. No calls are EVER return They would not honor the warranty until I contacted Ford Motor Company. They refuse to answer any call, all calls go to VM. No calls are EVER returned. They kept my vehicle for over 6 weeks. I had to physically drive in to the dealer to get any updates. On one such trip, while parked in their lot my Brand New Shelby Mustang GT500 (not bought there THANK GOD!) was damaged and they refused any liability! Had they returned ANY of my multiple calls I would not have had to go there in the first place! Then they never transferred the registration for my trade-in causing me fines for my previous vehicle not being insured THEN I could not renew the registration for the car I got from them. Turns out I was driving around illegally! I paid Kunes for the license tranfer that they did not do! Can you believe that the Secretary of State office was finally able to rectify the problem. They are true "xxxx" of the earth using Christian music and faith based decorations to fool the consumer. What would Jesus think of their practices??? More
Where do I start? When we arrived we had to go over the same info and spent 20mins of having to search for the exact info, however, information was already given and on the application. Then we were told we need an additional $2,000 down and so we left very unhappy. Within 10mins We found a deer friend who was willing to loan us the funds. We called them back and the sales person said I will call you right back. We waited over two hours, we sent two additional text messages and have not heard back from them. They lied to us from the beginning and didn't even have the common curiosity to actually call us back. I will never go there and will advise all of my friends to do that same. They play Christian music in the showroom, their "faith" is just that, for the showromm, kinda sick to use Christianity as a gimmick. More
Kunes charged my wife, a registered nurse, over $600 to replace our rear brakes on our 2018 Explorer with 47,000 miles on 9/22/21. I had previously replaced the front pads and rotors myself. A few month replace our rear brakes on our 2018 Explorer with 47,000 miles on 9/22/21. I had previously replaced the front pads and rotors myself. A few months ago, she was getting a vibration, so I inspected the front and rear brakes. To my surprise, upon rear brake inspection, I noticed that there is no inward pad on the rear brakes. So....my wife has been driving for the last 20k miles with no rear brakes at all. I contacted the management immediately to let them know that they need to give me a full refund at the very least. They offered a set of brake pads. What a joke. I would be contacting my lawyer if there had been any type of accident. Thank God there was not. I have tons of pics if anyone would like to see proof. Stay away from them! I was definitely screwed over!! More
