Oil change 2 1/2 hrs seems a little slow for a routine oil change but I guess it takes time to run through all the check items on your list. My preganant wife and i were lied to! BEWARE....My wife was hours from having a baby and needed a reliable car....she found a prius that she really liked and was told by the sales person t BEWARE....My wife was hours from having a baby and needed a reliable car....she found a prius that she really liked and was told by the sales person that she should definitley buy the extended warranty to be sure and have the hybrid battery covered because they are the most expensive part to replace. So she bought it and guess what??? Two years later the hybrid battery goes bad, and no we find out that in fine print that the warrany does NOT cover the battery at all!!! They scared her into buying it and its not even a covered part!!!!! They did the same thing to me so i had them check to see if the ext warr i bought on my hybrid Sonata says the same thing and it does!!! I'm so mad that we were both lied to directly to our face so that they could make their commision on us! The sales manager Mario keeps dodging our phone calls and when we do get a hold of him he says he's going to get right back to us and then he NEVER calls back!!! More

Advisors always give an estimate of time it will take to complete service and inquire if you plan to wait, need a ride, etc. This next comment isn't against the service advisors themselves but a comment about the service department as a whole. There seems to be a lot of turnover in the past 6-9 months. I've worked with 4 or 5 different advisors. Tim (who was GREAT), then Ricky (not so great), then Dave or whomever had the phone # Ricky had, then the last time I called the message was a guy named Steve. After leaving 2 messages for Steve and not having them returned, I called the main service dept # and was given and appointment with John. I didn't have any issues with John Tufarelli and he gave me his direct #. I prefer working with the same advisor each time I bring my vehicle in for service. More
