Thank you for the feedback Abe. Since you are in the car business also as a sales manager at a Koons Sterling Ford in Virginia, I'm sure you can appreciate the value of your online reputation. I'm actually surprised to hear that you are dissatisfied with your purchase, since this is the first I've heard about it in months. However, I understand that there is still some confusion regarding the condition of the car at the time of purchase, the state inspection, and the car arriving to you missing the temporary tag. I was under the impression that we had addressed all of your concerns by sending you multiple pictures in addition to what we had online before you purchased the car, including some of the imperfections. At the time you said you were fine with all the imperfections, both before the purchase and once you received the car last June. Regarding the state inspection, by law all of our cars have to pass NC state inspection before they are sold. A copy of the inspection receipt was sent with the car, but I would be more than happy to send you another copy if need be. Regarding the temporary tag, I wish I could have issued you a new temp tag at the time, but that is something that is out of our control since NC DMV does not permit us to issue duplicate temporary tags no matter the circumstance. I did strongly recommended that you ship the car in an enclosed carrier. However, since you are a car dealer and wanted to save additional money, the transporter you sent was not an enclosed carrier. This probably would have still been okay, but the day that your transporter came to pick up the car the east coast was hit with large thunderstorms. With the combination of the car traveling on the back of an open trailer at 60-70 mph, and heavy thunderstorms, I'm assuming the cardboard temporary tag was blown off. However, I have learned that if someone is shipping a car that is not enclosed, I should not put the temporary tag on the car, but rather put it in the glove box to eliminate the risk of it blowing off. Again, I apologize that you had a less than perfect experience dealing with myself and our store, but I do appreciate you bringing these concerns to my attention. Wow, I am beyond estonished by the lies, lies and more lies your and your dealership keeps making. Your dealership never sent me any pictures and never adviced me about any flaws in the car I bought from your establishment. You never once mentioned anything about enclosed shipping rather rushed the shipping company and agreed to the first company to close a sale. I asked you like any consumer regardless of what they do for living and work hard for the money about the general condition of the car, you told me it was perfect. No scratches no dents. I told you I am a busy man and do not intend to come in and need to ship it, I think that's where I made my mistake by trusting what you said and letting you take advantage of the situation of me shipping it to VA. I am not sure how legal is it for you to post what I do for living and where I work online, I thougt this information I provided to you was for the purpose of completing a purchase transaction only, not to post online. I will be consulting a lawyer regarding this issue to see if you have the right to post my information online.
