I went into to Lexus Escondido to have my brake light replaced. I was given a quote of $65. Once they had the light opened up, the service person came to tell me it would be $570 because they has to replace the whole unit. I was taken aback and decided to take the car somewhere else for an estimate. Long story short, I had it fixed for $170.
This is the 2nd time they tried to take advantage of me at this dealership. Don't get taken in my these insane prices. Do your homework and you can save $100s.

Matt Coleman and Dan Taylor ...fantastic customer focus and follow-up. Matt recently went to bat for me on an issue on my wife's certified GX. I know I would have run into a brick wall with corporate if I tried "fixing" this issue on my own. Kudos Matt. On your next car purchase, ask for Bob Zepeda, for service after the sale, ask for Matt or Dan. These guys will no doubt, exceed your expectations! Oh, and another thing, on your next purchase at Lexus of Escondido and/or service of your Lexus, please step up to their brand new eatery, Vintana. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, fine service.

I would like to say that our experience at Lexus Carlsbad was great. We were helped by our sales consultant Marius Matrofan.
We live in Palm Desert and Lexus Carlsbad is a 100 miles away but they had the car that we wanted. We made the drive and it was worth every bit of the 4 hr round trip. Marius was great!! He gave us the best price on there car and the best price on our trade in and it was spot on with the research that I had already done on line. No muss, no fuss. NO HAMMER, great service. great deal. I suddenly found myself needing a another car after a distracted driver totaled my Lexus SC 430. I had a rental car that needed to be turned in asap. I had several Lexus Dealerships listed to go visit that day. As soon as my girlfriend and I arrived we were greeted by Bob. He heard what I wanted and showed me a beautiful Lexus RX350. He never pressured me or played any games, I made an offer he got the deal I needed to make and within 2 hours I was driving out with my RX350. The whole team was great and came to introduce themselves. When I left I knew that I would never buy another Lexus from any other dealership .this is my 3rd Lexus and it was "red carpet" service.

I have dealt with Thomas twice, first for the instillation of a quick shifter for my 2008 IS 250. While I was there he looked up my vin and told me that I had a recall that had yet to be done, and he said he could get it done at the same time. What great customer service, when I went to Lexus of San Diego, he said I had to wait till I got the letter in the mail for the recall, since the previous owner had not got the recall service performed. On the second visit, I have been experiencing excessive brake dust, and when I called and complained he told me to come in the next day and they would get it done. So far amazing experience at Lexus of Escondido. I would definitely recommend. Also the dealership is beautiful, the entire floor is marble, it is definitely a no expenses spared dealership.
