Upfront, friendly, efficient I do not enjoy the idea of having to get a new car. I would rather be thinking about an umpteen number of other things. But this was a necessity so I went through the motions, researching researching researching to the point of confusion and migraine. Crunching numbers, familiarizing myself with sales tactics and negotiation strategies (very few of which I cared about). I was at the stage where I was calling ahead to make this process more efficient for a husband and father of two small children. Danny seemed to understand this and was very clear, professional, and upfront since call #1. I think both he and I knew Subarus kind of sell themselves. The transactions were quick, his follow up with honest and thorough, and he respected my limited time. Though I knew I had to sign a bunch of money away to someone at the conclusion of this process, Kevin the finance manager was friendly, helped me save a ton, and was uber-respectful of the fact that I had to get my daughter in 30 minutes so he was very efficient. These interactions easily convinced me to drive past the closer Subaru service centers to reward Liberty Subaru with my continued business. I highly recommend! More

I was told by Ed Vogel 3 days before the arrival date, when it would arrive. So I had plenty of time to contact insurance and arrange for bank check.Paper work at dealer took 5 to 10 minutes to complete. This was the best experience I have had purchasing or leasing a car. Met with Steve Klein to talk about purchasing a new Subaru Forester for my mom as her current SUV no longer had a working/irreparable A/C. He was very patient and straight forward with answering all the questions I had about the vehicle and the options they currently had available for purchase. After going on a test drive and looking at the available vehicles in the dealership's lot, we decided to make a purchase the very same day. Even before I drove out of the dealership with a new '15 Forester, Steve took the time to carefully explain all the features and options included with the new Forester. All in all, Steve made the experience very pleasant and painless. More
I love Liberty Subaru I purchased a 2002 WRX at Liberty in June 2001. I serviced that car at Liberty for the entire 14 years I had it. My son is now purchasing that car f I purchased a 2002 WRX at Liberty in June 2001. I serviced that car at Liberty for the entire 14 years I had it. My son is now purchasing that car from me, it is in mint condition. Their service is A-1. When they could not fix the car on a service call I was always given a late model courtesy car free of charge. Today, June 3, 2015 I picked up my Limited Forester. I love the Forester. I was given a great deal. I love Liberty Subaru and will continue to do business with them as long as I am able to drive. More
First time Subaru owner Purchased my first Subaru through TrueCar internet buying service. Received three local offers which were each pretty close but chose Liberty because Purchased my first Subaru through TrueCar internet buying service. Received three local offers which were each pretty close but chose Liberty because I have friends who purchased from them and spoke very highly. Overall, the buying experience with Clayton Earle was extremely pleasant with no hard sell. Arrived at what I believe to be a very fair price for the new car and for my trade-in. I had done my research in advance. Picking up the car was an ok experience. The individuals in the showroom who were sitting at a large counter desk were unfriendly, joking amongst themselves, never looking up when I entered and eating which I believe to be very unprofessional. My salesman, Dan Lidestri was very enthusiastic and thorough in going over all the car's features. I did feel however, that Liberty could have done a better job of cleaning up the car as there were noticable finger prints in the cabin and on the glass. Kevin Mark in charge of the finance is very thorough and completed all the final paperwork flawlessly. I only hope that my car service experience is on par with this dealership's ratings More

Straightforward, easy, first-time buying experience As this was my first buying experience, I did as much research as possible and was ready to do some hard negotiations. I was ready but dreading the wh As this was my first buying experience, I did as much research as possible and was ready to do some hard negotiations. I was ready but dreading the whole process. As it turns out, I didn't have to worry. Jeff was very professional, pleasant, and honest. He listened attentively to what we wanted and answered our questions completely and thoroughly. He took time to show us the cars and explain the equipment and optional packages. When it came down to talk about the price, he noticed I had previously inquired about the Crosstrek and honored the internet price - no questions asked and no negotiations needed. We also met with Kevin Mark who was very professional and pleasant to work with. Both Kevin and Jeff worked hard to see if we could bring the car home on the same day but we decided Friday morning would be a better time for everyone. Between Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning, I reached out to Jeff twice on his voicemail and on both occasions, Jeff called me back within 15 minutes. If that's not prompt, I don't know what is. On Friday morning, Jeff showed me around the service department and the waiting lounge. Once Kevin was ready to see me, we finalized all of the paperwork. Kevin let me read through the contracts and didn't push me to sign the papers quickly - he actually recommended that I look at everything carefully before signing. Once we were done with the paperwork, Jeff brought me to my new 2015 Crosstrek and spent the next half hour thoroughly going over the standard features and optional equipment. Jeff and Kevin turned the whole buying process into a positive experience. They never pushed me into buying or signing. They were very accommodating, knowledgeable, honest, patient, professional, and very pleasant. The only downside I see is that Jeff might have raised my bar of expectations too high for future sales consultants - something I won't worry about for as long as I have the Crosstrek. I look forward to keeping in touch with Liberty Subaru for all my Crosstrek's needs. Thanks for everything! More

The process was quick because I did everything via email except pickup the car. There was no sales pressure and no haggling. Instead I got an excellent price right up front, I had time to do my own research and then ask for the extras I wanted and I walked away feeling that I had bought the car I wanted. (That's in contrast to another dealership that pressured me to buy because "Subaru only makes a certain number of Foresters in blue" and I might have trouble finding another one. I found another one in one day at Liberty Subaru AND it didn't come with extras i would never ever want…like a specialized license plate cover. Tom in finance was excellent too. No pressure to sell me a warranty I didn't need. (By contrast another dealer tried to sell me an extended warranty (okay) plus a tire warranty and another warranty I cant remember because I'd already decided I didn't want any warranty at all.) Because Tom didn't push a warranty on me; which is good because Subaru makes a good car; I was able to research and ask for the warranty I wanted. The price was a big improvement over the previous dealership and I actually bought an extended Gold Plus warranty so I didn't have to go through the same process of haggling with a repair shop. The dealership is easy to get to if you live in the city…just take the train out to Emerson and walk about 5 minutes (avoiding the donuts at Duncan Donut along the way.) I met David and Tom the day I picked up my new car. They were very, very good guys, clearly loved Subaru as a company. I had a fantastic time in the dealerships to top it all off!
