we came to the Honda dealership to have my husbands van serviced and while we waited we were looking at vehicles for me. we originally wanted to look at a Honda crv but found a Honda pilot and fell in lov serviced and while we waited we were looking at vehicles for me. we originally wanted to look at a Honda crv but found a Honda pilot and fell in love! Patrick, or Randy as we called him, explained all the features and information about the vehicle, let us test drive it, and then we drove another one, and we decided we really liked the first one the best. Randy took all our information, first of all taking our children getting them a pop and then taking them to the lounge where they could watch tv or play with toys, and then talked with his boss about our application. He was very friendly, very professional and we had a really easy time understanding all the warranty information, and all information he gave to us. we were trading in a vehicle that we didn't have with us at the time, told us they would either come and get it for us or we could bring it down. just a wonderful experience from start to finish! Patrick put us with Greg to show us a new Pathfinder. The wife wanted a Murano as that is what she had but was not happy with the gas millage. I was NOT in the market for a new vehicle , but they made it VERY attractive so we pulled the trigger on a new one. Greg got me a very good interest rate as we are not millionaires , and nobody has been able to beat it. This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from them and am happy with the deal I got. Great experience with everyone that I dealt with. They had to get the car I wanted, with the options that I wanted, from a different dealership and thought it was going to have the stainless steel illumi had to get the car I wanted, with the options that I wanted, from a different dealership and thought it was going to have the stainless steel illuminated kick plates but it did not have them. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed when I opened the car door when I went to pick the car up and it didn't have the kick plates. Everyone has been great about getting this problem resolved, from checking with the Service Manager to make sure they could be added to my car. They have placed the order for them and we will be setting up a time for them to be installed. It might have been a little misunderstanding on the part of everyone, me included, but everything has been resolved to my satisfaction. Everyone was very good about communicating during the dealing process through email and phone calls. First time I had purchased a car from Lithia Nissan of Ames and I have had a great experience with everyone that I have dealt with and met. More

I negotiated a deal for a Nissan Leaf electric car with the exterior and interior colors we wanted to be brought in from another dealership on a trailer. The next day I was called and asked if I would be the exterior and interior colors we wanted to be brought in from another dealership on a trailer. Accepting the different interior color saved us significant amount of money in freight because it was located at another dealership that was much closer. I really had the pleasure of working with Patrick "Randy" Daugherty again. This was the third time that Mr. Patrick Daugherty helped my family in getting a car. With this experience and the last one, I wanted the blue color and the certain features. Patrick helped to find the car I wanted. When I purchased the Nissan Sentra SR through LIthia Nissan of Ames; I wanted the metallic blue color with the navigation system and moonroof with spoiler. This was a combination of the two cars I had before going to one car. Patrick and his sales manager never gave up in finding the car I wanted which was found in Texas. Yes, it was hard to give up the two cars I had but it was feasible to go down to one car. I am still getting use to the Nissan Sentra. The more I drive it the more I like it. So i had been looking for a mazda mpv, for my next vehicle. I am not a minivan kind of girl but this fit the bill for what i needed it for. He knew we were coming from 2 hours away an it had to be perfect. Long story shortened, the mpv had a problem on the way home and starting acting up, I called Randy we got it back to ames and they took care of it 100%. They fixed what needed to be fixed and delivered it to my house 2 hours away!!! They have return customers here! We rate the a 5 because even though we had a bump in the road they made it right!
