The day finally came where I was able to talk my husband into taking one for a test drive. We liked it ok but didn't like the price. Hubby thought is was way to small and he didn't like the way it handled at high speed. We decided to think about it. On the way home hubby asked what about a VW Beetle? I told him I hadn't even considered one? I knew I didn't want a muscle car like mustang or camero so I was open to considering a beetle. I said they look like fun and cute. We called a friend who sells used cars and he said the Beetle had a great safety rating and they held their value much better than the Cooper so on the way home we stopped a test drove one. I liked it! I liked the size of the back seat and how big it felt inside with the top up. Hubby liked the way it handled and $10,000 was very appealing to him so we drove one home that night. I enjoy driving it every time I can and hubby really likes it too. Says he is surprised how much fun it is to drive (he drives a Corvette Sting Ray so that says a lot!) More

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME I have purchased many cars in my lifetime and have had many experiences at car dealerships. Never have I been treated with such disrespect. Salesman D I have purchased many cars in my lifetime and have had many experiences at car dealerships. Never have I been treated with such disrespect. Salesman Danny and Manager Joe were extremely rude and unprofessional. We drove 2 hours to purchase a truck that we saw online. Prior to driving, we called and asked if there would be any surprises regarding price, vehicle, etc. They were persistent that what we saw is what we get. Once we arrived the price of the vehicle was $4,500 more than the price listed online because "their system hadn't updated" though the pictures of the truck were the EXACT SAME as in person. The only thing that didn't update was the price somehow. Absolutely ridiculous service and they would not budge. We wasted our time with thinking this dealer would be professional and helpful in our car buying process. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here. More

Search for a vehicle for my brother I was assisting my brother in his search for a dependable used car. I had done a google search late last week when I saw your 2011 Jetta. ($6,000*) I I was assisting my brother in his search for a dependable used car. I had done a google search late last week when I saw your 2011 Jetta. ($6,000*) I inquired on line for more info. Tues. 2/14 I received a phone call from Matthew Duke (which frankly surprised me due to the time lag, I had completely forgotten about your Jetta) My first question of Matt was "what does the asterisk mean beside the $6,000?". since my research showed the value of the car was considerably higher. He began to tell me about multiple fees which the dealership charges which added about $2,000. to the total price. I will tell you with no prejudice towards Matthew (Im sure he has no say in how the Dealership advertises vehicle prices not inclusive of all fees) After learning the real price I informed Matthew that my brothers budget was approximately $6,000 CASH, the reason for the inquiry. Matthew then text me information on a Ford Fusion, which was $6,500 "out the door" as an alternative. I spoke with my brother and he indicated a FORD, and a black vehicle were unacceptable to him, so I thanked Matthew for his efforts, but we have no interest..Matthew, being professionally persistent, asked if we would be interested if he could eliminate some of the dealer fees. I conferred with my brother and confirmed an "out the door" price of approximately $7,500. At this point I asked Matthew for the Dealerships address so we could make arrangements to view the vehicle the next morning. I was not aware it was your Clearwater location, I thought it was NPR. My brother is disabled, and driving to Clearwater was going to be a problem, without a beat, Matthew volunteered to deliver the vehicle to our home!! The next morning Matthew gave us the final price to the penny (told us he would give us 24 hours to check it out, have my mechanic go over it before anything was Final) Matthew came to our home exactly when he said he would, was professional, personable and very polite! We made the deal And my brother is THRILLED to death!!!!!!! More

Trouble Getting In October 10th. 2017 To whom this may concern, First, let me beginning by saying that service for my Beetle has been very good over the years and ever October 10th. 2017 To whom this may concern, First, let me beginning by saying that service for my Beetle has been very good over the years and everyone has been most accommodating. Only one time was the inside of my car dirty after a repair and you made it right with an outside detailing coupon. A simple acknowledgement would have sufficed, but hey, the detailing was great! I am currently awaiting a return call from Eric, because Brian said he is the one connected to my request for an inside door handle and soft panel that has come loose from the car door, as well as a new CD player, which I have been advised would require the whole CD/Radio unit. Apparently a new unit does not come with Blue Tooth. My main concern was the CD player. (I still love to play my CDs.) It is Two o’clock and he has not yet called. Here is the back-story. I believe it was Eric who listed all of the things I would need to eventually fix in my car. He also listed them in order of importance, which I appreciate. Neither issue above had occurred at that time. The driver-side handle was still in place and the CD player worked. I cannot afford car payments. I cannot even afford my monthly bills since overtime was discontinued. I’ve been supplementing my income with what is left of my 401K. But I felt it was important to maintain my little Bug so it would last a long time and be in good condition. It has low gas mileage for a 2007 so I want to keep it. I don’t need to bore you further with my finances, but I want you to know that I do not take car maintenance lightly. I’d rather go on a vacation. My first idea was to email you guys through your Lokey website under “Schedule Service.” I listed all the things that needed to be fixed and asked for an estimate. No one called me. I only received calls wanting to sell me a car. I did not pursue an estimate but showed the list to the manager at Tires Plus when I went to get tires (first on the list) and he said that they could do everything that my car needed for less than what the dealer would charge. But mind you, I did not know for sure because Lokeys never sent me an estimate. After the CD player quit on me and I’d been unable to use the handle for quite some time I decided to give you guys a call. I decided that things like handles and radio units would be best purchased through Volkswagon so they would be new parts and installed correctly. I believe my first call was the last week of August with Eric. He told me he thought that both repairs would run 1600.00, which was quite a bit more than I expected, but I decided to go with it and I told him to order the parts. He said he would notify me when they were in. A couple weeks went by, so I called again, and spoke to a young lady who said that the radio unit was there. I asked about the handle and door panel and she put me on hold. She came back and said that it would probably be in the following Wednesday, that the handle took longer to get. I had a suspicion that it had never been ordered, but that was an unfair assumption at the time. I went ahead and made an appointment for Saturday 10/8/16 at 11:00 for both repairs, but I wanted someone to call if the handle did not come in by Wednesday as I was advised. I called Saturday, since no one called, and spoke to Brian. I did not want to come in unless both parts were there. He saw that Eric was assigned to my service call. Eric was not there. Brian said the radio was there. I asked about the panel and handle. He checked and said that no handle had ever been ordered. He said that Eric would call me today. The bottom line is that I feel like my calls have not been important enough to attend to. I feel a little like an outsider at this point, even though I’ve been getting services from Lokeys for years. 1600.00 was removed from my 401K and sits in a savings account I set up just for this reason. One more thing, because this has obviously been too long a letter. The last time I was in I asked for Freon to be added to the air conditioner because it was taking ½ hour to get cool. I was told that the air-conditioning unit was worn out and the Freon would only last a week at best, but I paid 80 bucks anyway because I couldn’t afford to replace the AC unit at this time. The car has been blowing cool air after only about 10 minutes and has been working for three months or more, which makes me wonder if there really IS something wrong with the AC unit. I still want the radio and driver side handle and panel, but I think I’ve definitely decided to get the other repairs done at Tires Plus. They have even called to ask how my car was running since I got the new tires. Just sayin. Anyway. I KNOW you guys are very busy. I’ve been there numerous times and I see how busy you are. You’ve been great to shuttle me back and forth to and from work over the years, and in the spring you guys let me use a loaner over the weekend. So I guess I was just surprised that this latest endeavor has been such a challenge. Oh, it’s 2:45 and still no call. Thank you for your time. Debbie. PS. When I got home at six there was a message on my land line, (I gave them my cell to call,) from a young lady at Volkswagon wanting to know if I want to schedule an appointment?? More

We drove 3 hours because they had the car we wanted and could not have been happier with the service we received. Pernell is the manager and seriously could not have been more helpful and transparent with us. Very energetic, honest and plain out good at what he does. Doug also worked with us, all of the same traits stand true for him. This is by far the best experience we have had purchasing a car to date. We have planned out a couple of trips to the west coast just to bring our car back to this dealership to get it serviced just because we are that impressed.... also, because it's pretty nice out here. Highly recommend, ask for Doug or Pernell. I got the deal I was looking for and honestly for a car that went above our standards. A 2016 Tiguan SE with 10k miles. More
