I received a call from Dan Bernstein of the servicing department following my bad experience there. He apologized profusely and offered that if I came down again the next day that he would review the car for the software update free of charge. I went down again on my lunch break and, true to his word, Dan uploaded the software and the check engine light went off! No charge, no problems. I'm sorry it took a scathing review and a nasty phone call to get to this point, but I am happy with the way it all turned out. Many thanks to Dan at Madison Honda Servicing!

My name is David Lee and I am the General Manager of Madison Honda. While I can not possibly review the details of this particular transaction as I don't know this client's name, I wish to clarify the subject matter. The fees involved on any vehicle purchase transaction are simple: selling price of the vehicle, documentation fee (ours is $219, low as oppossed to other dealers), NJ tire tax $7.50, online reg. fee $7.70, motor vehicle fee (as charged by state of NJ, varies by model/weight class, transfer of plates, etc.). That's it! Nothing is 'hidden'. If accessories are on the vehicle being purchased, of course the client would pay for that, but in general, the purchase of a vehicle is simple, and we intend to keep it that way! I would like to add that I had called this dealership and spoke with a rep and asked if he had a certain car in stock. He was very fast talking, and had a heavy accent that was hard to understand. He said "how much you want to car for?" When I told him price I was looking at, he said "Fine. Give me deposit." I asked him -- "OVer the phone? Now?" "Yes. Why not? Come on. Give me credit card."
