My Review of Maxon Hyundai-Mazda:
First of all, this was my first buying experience. George was a great salesperson, but he is now gone. Luis was AWFUL!!! Anthony (head sales manager) is great.
I bought my car and George surprised me with a wind deflector on my moonroof. However, the door guards were not put on. I was told by Luis "too bad, service is closing in 5 minutes and can't do it, you have to come back". I hadn't even signed the paperwork yet and he was treating me like crap! Mind you, they had 16 hours to get the car in perfect shape for me. Well I fought like Hell and they put on the door guards, which took about 2 minutes to do.
I drove the car off the lot and was very happy with my price.
Anyway, the next morning, after the car was parked in a garage overnight (no other cars near it), I noticed a license plate mark on the back bumper. I promptly called the dealer and George said to bring it in and they can fix it. Well, Luis threw a fit, said I was lying and did it myself and there was no way he would fix it. My fiance fought with him for an hour. Luis yelled and screamed and was very insulting and derogatory. He gave me touch up paint as a consolation. Well I get home and it is the WRONG COLOR PAINT. I bought a black car, it was Silver paint. Now I had silver paint on my 2 day old Black Mazda 6. Finally, we contacted the head sales manager Anthony. He is amazing. He fixed it, I got a loaner for 2 days at no charge and he apologized for Luis.
2 weeks later, my plates came in and no one called me. I called them. When I went there, they were less than helpful. I waited for 30 minutes for the paperwork. Finally, a salesman put my plates on and he was great (forgot his name).
Although Anthony was great and so was George, I will never buy another car from Maxon. Luis is a big jerk and treats you like you are the scum of the world. He should be fired and never allowed to ever work with people again.
