I visited Maxon last week in order to look at the Mazda 3 sport and to test drive it. I made an appointment. When I arrived, I was told to please wait. OK, that is fine. After waiting awhile I finally asked if someone was going to help me. The guy who told me to wait finally came back to say he was helping someone else so he would be back soon. So I waited some more and finally he was done and ready to help. So after having to wait he briefly discussed the Hyundai elantra to me and then talked about the Mazda. We then went outside where a car that they brought out for me to test drive was there, but it was not the car I wanted to test drive (just a standard mazda 3 not the sport with skyactiv). We then drove to the back where they had a lot of cars and the salesperson tried to talk about the other models because the one that I wanted did not have a sunroof which was a must. Then another salesperson came and took over because the salesperson that was helping me was new and they felt the other guy would be better. After finally getting to test drive the car that I wanted we went back inside to talk prices. It was basically a final price, no negotiating, and he told me if I wanted to I could get a sunroof installed in the basic model of the car to make it cheaper, which I was later advised not to do because it would most likely start leaking. I ended up leaving that day because I did not feel comfortable or felt as if the salesperson wanted to work with me. I then went to Crystal Auto mall where I purchased the car for almost 30 dollars a month lower with the same 0% financing for 60 months Maxon was offering. I would not recommend this place if you want to get a good deal on a car but some of the people there are knowledgeable and can let you know a lot about the cars.

I had the recent pleasure of purchasing a new Mazda CX9 from Maxon Hyundai-Mazda in Union, NJ last week and felt compelled to write this review....after shopping around to three competing closer dealerships and reluctantly traveling up to Union for a fourth visit to a Mazda dealership I was pleasantly surprised. Upon parking and entering Maxon, I was greeted by a smiling Mike Fischer. After a few questions he quickly brought me out to a smorgasbord of CX9's in every color, and package and within minutes we were heading down Rt. 22 in a beautiful Black CX9 testing as many of it's features as I could. Mike took over a half an hour showing me all the features and buttons...he even showed me how to adjust the headlights in order to get the best possible viewing at night....I thought...who does this????? Upon finishing my test drive we went into the showroom and without even haggling I was presented with a price that beat out the previous three dealerships and gave me 60 month 0% financing to boot....WOW!!! Within 60 minutes I was out the door...my wife following behind me...in my new Black/ Sand CX9 ...heading back to Monroe, NJ. What was supposed to be a "viewing and recon" trip ended in me getting the SUV I dreamed of at a price that was significantly less than three other dealers had proposed without any negotiating. I even got the Maxon 200,000 engine warranty for free!!! I am a small business owner and felt compelled to write this review since I know how hard it is shopping for a "big ticket" item like a car is. When you come across an organization like Maxon that so thoroughly takes care of your every need so effortlessly I just had to put my pleasure down in writing......Thank you Maxon and Mike Fischer for making the buying process so easy and pleasurable. This is the 2nd car we have purchased from Maxon. I shop around but I always end up back at Maxon. It seems like the other dealerships I visit like to play games. Mike Mango is a pro and I love his straight forward selling approach. From start to finish the sale went smooth. We even got a great finance rate and did not even have to ask for it. We got a great deal and we love our new Mazda CX 5. I will continue to buy all my cars at Maxon A++++

Due to a mix-up with another dealership, I had to return my leased car to Maxon. Michael Fisher, the leasing consultant, was very kind and helpful. Although I didn't have an appointment to return the car, he was sympathetic to my situation and quickly drew up the paperwork and completed the return process. I have owned three cars from Maxon Mazda and have never been disappointed with the service or the professionalism of the staff. I would not hesitate to purchase another car through this dealership.

I went to buy a Mazda3 i grand touring hatchback after getting a quote from True Car. The salesman Dontae was very helpful in getting the deal done. He promised to honor the quote given to me by truecar.com. I got the deal with 0% apr because I have an excellent credit score with no missed or late payments. All great till I went to the finance guy. He asked me to bring my pay checks. (Its very unusual) but since I was interested in the car, I brought it next day. And when I came next day, he saw my paycheck and commented you make good money. That was very unprofessional comment but anyway that's ok. The part that really disappointed me was that he after seeing my paycheck changed the price in the contract. He knew I was coming in for the second time and I was a serious buyer. The price price added was approx 900 dollars. He also put off the accessory (floor mat), and later said it was never promised. You have to pay. All babbling. Maxon was a great experience except that finance guy. Be extremely careful with these guys when signing the the contract. They can rip off a thousand dollars in the last minute babbling if you are not careful. Take your time and make sure you get itemize details of your purchase.

Called this dealer because I needed to buy a car in the next few days. Receptionist took the info for the car I was looking for and had to have me spell "hyundai" and "veloster for her. I was then transferred to a sales associate "mike" who spoke on the phone as though he had just walked in off the street and knew nothing about cars. Gave me incorrect prices against the ones they had on there site, could not understand or answer simple questions like " what options are added to this car", " what do you have in stock". Not only did they lose any easy sale but I will make sure my experience is made known to prevent others from dealing with this unprofessionalism.
