I needed a part for my car, Ford called me and said they “spent 2 hours calling around for the part” to no avail and the part was on back order. I was told it could take up to a month to get the part. And, “spent 2 hours calling around for the part” to no avail and the part was on back order. I was told it could take up to a month to get the part. And, my warranty would only cover a one day rental car. I’m a nurse and depend immensely on having my car to get to work and care for my patients. Without the part, my car was not drivable.I found the part within five minutes of searching online, had it shipped to me,and I delivered it to Ford and had my car fixed within 48 hours. Had I not explored further myself the cost I would’ve incurred for a rental would’ve been outrageous. The customer service person was polite and very nice. Ford did do the work for my car which I was grateful for however I am disappointed in their lack of efforts to help me get the part. More
The service was excellent. The service advisor James Foley explained the repair needed to be done. The repair work was completed in a timely manner. I was very disappointed in the system. I went in for a rotation and oil chg when after the fact they said I need new tires. Well they charge me for a rotating then told me my tires were in the red. I will by the tires but still why do the rotating and charge me then put on new tires and alignment. I would rather they notice my tires being in the red and come out to speak with me because I was a “wait person “ in the waiting room. Someone’s head was not thinking much for the customer! sake!
