Jody was very professional and worked very hard to satisfy me. He would not give up until he made a sale. Although his price wasn't the lowest in the area his overall deal, which included service an satisfy me. He would not give up until he made a sale. I didn't only buy a new car I also made a new friend. I have bought many new cars in my lifetime and have never had an experience equal to the one at McGrath Hyundai. I came from Florida searching for a new Santa Fe. I visited several dealerships including Jenkins Hyundai in Florida; Loren Hyundai, O'Hare Hyundai and McGrath City Hyundai in Illinois; Suntrup Hyundai visited several dealerships including Jenkins Hyundai in Florida; Loren Hyundai, O'Hare Hyundai and McGrath City Hyundai in Illinois; Suntrup Hyundai in St. Louis, Mo.; and Zimbrick Hyundai in Wisconsin. While all the dealerships were professional and courteous, McGrath City Hyundai was heads and shoulders above the rest. Of particular note was Jody Adams and his sales team (Allison and Joe). The service department was also very accomodating and installed my tow package without a hitch (excuse the pun!!). This is my fourth new Hyundai and I am extremely pleased with the workmanship and performance. I traded my 2006 Elantra (from Jenkins Hyundai in on a 2010 Genesis Coupe (from Rosen), bought a 2008 Santa Fe from Zimbrick Hyundai and traded it in on my new 2011 Santa Fe at McGraths City Hyundai. As you can see, I really did shop around for my new Santa Fe. I finally settled on McGrath as they are in my opinion the best dealership I have dealt with. They made the trip well worth the effort and I will continue to do business with them. They should be the bench mark against which to compare other dealerships. Car was "purchased" Saturday 11/27 and as of 11/29 has not been picked up and was never driven off of lot and now sale cannot even be cancelled. car is not even in possesion of owner. I had been looking for a used vehicle for several months. I had finally found one on autotrader but it was over 2 hours away from my home. I had called the sales department at least 3 different times prior t I had finally found one on autotrader but it was over 2 hours away from my home. When i got there and looked at the vehicle i was interested in there were 3 huge dents in the rear bumper, a softball size dent on the passenger door and about 1/4 of the front bumper MISSING. I was obviously furious at this point due to the fact that the information was never disclosed to me on the internet or the three phone calls i had made to them personally. When i went inside to talk with JODY the sales manager who was the same man i had talked to the 3 times prior he did not stand up to shake my hand greet me in any sort of professional manor and sat back in his chair twirling his pen as if i was the least of his concerns. As if that wasnt bad enough prior to making the trip i had disclosed my personal financial situation to him again on numerous occasions only for him to tell me there wouldnt be anything he could do for me that night anyways so even if the car was in decent shape i wasted my time coming down there. At that point i am more then frustrated and start acting accordingly and when he didnt like what i had to say he proceeded to tell me that i shouldnt act that way in front of MY CHILD. and continued to be extremely cocky and kept pointing to my child just to xxxx me off even more. I wouldnt recommend ever going to this dealership if you wanted to be treated with any sort of respect. TOTALLY DISGUSTED More

Had to return 3 times to get everything I needed. Promised a gas fill up and a target gift card and never got either. I was also told the XM radio would be available for about a month and it was gone in two days. The service dept. was very good and helped me when I returned for my second key and lock. I think that only took about 2 hours worth of waiting. The sales dept. needs to know that the deal does not end with the signature. As I said in a previous email, kudos to your service department. I think they might be the reason people come back. Lisa Freeman answered my previous email, please don't have her answer this one. She never read the complete email and thought I was interested in buying a car.
