I could not believe all the Customer Service perks that this Dealership offered. Free car washes, a massage on Mondays, shoe shines on Fridays and a great little cafe with loaners when necessary. This is a beautiful Dealership w/ great Service perks and the people were so kind and respectful to me throughout the whole process. I know I have been a "Tough Customer" to deal with. I shopped around quite a bit and pushed pretty hard to get the best deal. If I was Rita I would have been very frustrated. Rita unwavering with. The one factor I couldn't calculate in numbers was the service. The way I am treated when I'm at McGrath Lexus is such a positive experience that it supplants the "good deal" as my #1 criteria for a car purchase. I tried to imagine what it would be like at other dealerships when I needed to bring the car in for service. I visited all the waiting rooms, talked with service people, etc. McGrath is in a class by itself. Rita Barkstrom is in a class by herself as well. She was a huge factor in my decision. Over the years my wife and I have dealt with more than a few car dealerships. Most were a disappointing experience. When my wife's car broke down on the Eisenhower at Damon Ave, I knew it was time to move few car dealerships. Most were a disappointing experience. When my wife's car broke down on the Eisenhower at Damon Ave, I knew it was time to move up to a Lexus. I had read about their quality and strong performance record. We found Kathy Mallet in Westmont on the internet, who sold us our first Lexus, a new 2002 ES300. She made car buying such a pleasant, effortless, and satisfying experience. We have bought three more new cars and our daughter has bought two pre-owned certified cars. Two of our best friends have also bought new Lexus cars. The service has also been excellent.
