In fairness to Motor Werks, they bought back the LEMON 2005 Cadillac CTS, VIN 1G6DP567750183437, I purchased on November 4, 2011. Why in truth, the car should have never been sold to anyone, bald and nearly bald rear tires on a RWD car(though the sales man claimed the tires had another 25,000 miles left and they showed me an undated inspection record that claimed the tires were all at 4/32nds, when in reality they were checked by a local tire dealer and measured 5/32nd LF, 4/32nd RF, 2/32nd LR, and barely 3/32nd RR)that contributed to an accident on November 8th, an engine that required major repair on December 14th(we were already debating the financial loss from the accident and need to buy new tires), and a transmission that completely failed on December 21st. Imagine all these problems within only 47 days and 1,697 actual miles driven. They finally bought the LEMON back on January 23, 2012 after two months of frustration and arguments for the exact amount I paid for it of $10,700. They did provide me with a loaner car from December 21, 2011 to January 23, 2012 which was only fair given all of the extenuating circumstances. The accident cost me $1,329.83 on November 21, the tires cost $577.66 on November 10, and the window tint cost $200 on December12, for a total of $2,107.49. The estimate to repair the engine was $670.17 on November 29 and the estimated replacement cost for the transmission ranged from $3,200 to$3,800 on December 22. This work was never performed by the dealer as they wanted me to select a different car before they decided to buy back the LEMON. The real disappointment was the out of pocket loss of $2,107.49 on a LEMON which they refused to pay, the run around between the president/CEO, general manager, sales manager and salesman, and most importantly my son's huge disappointment in his first car. I am only grateful that he or the other driver was not injured in the car accident three days after the purchase. Imagine how much better of a car I could have purchased in the first place if I wanted to spend the lost money on top of the original purchase price or $12,807.47 out the door. I have been driving and buying cars since 1972 and this was the one and only, worst car purchasing experience in 29 years. They took this car in on trade, inspected it (not), and sold it to me. As the saying goes, buyer beware! More
I went in to look for a new SUV. My wife and I arrived at around 3:30 and by 6 were were finishing the paperwork on a new M350. It was a great experience as Jason understood which cars would fit our need at around 3:30 and by 6 were were finishing the paperwork on a new M350. It was a great experience as Jason understood which cars would fit our needs and he definitely did not try to oversell or put us in a car that wasn't right for us. Joe walked us through the paperwork without a hitch. I would heartily reccommend them to anyone looking for a new car. More
I'd been thinking for a while that it might be the right time to consider replacing my Infiniti I30 that had served me so well for more than 10 years. So one morning earlier this week, I had a brief phone time to consider replacing my Infiniti I30 that had served me so well for more than 10 years. So one morning earlier this week, I had a brief phone conversation with one of the Infiniti consultants, Sebastian Stankiewicz, and arranged to visit the showroom later in the day. My intention was just to take a look, and decide whether my next Motor Werks purchase (to be the fifth for my family!) would be now, or at some point in the not-too-distant future. I arrived around 4:00, and drove away - in my new G37X - at 6:30! Sebastian was friendly, courteous, informative and efficient in offering a terrific deal - with none of the tiresome "negotiation" for which some dealers are notorious. He exemplified everything we have come to expect and enjoy in dealing with Motor Werks. Motor Werks Infiniti is fortunate to have Sebastian on staff...and the auto-buying public is fortunate to have Motor Werks! It's treatment of customers is without peer in the industry. We're looking forward to many more years in our relationship with Motor Werks! Mary Ellen Schiller Inverness More

Although I live in Minneapolis, where we have 2 quality BMW stores, I bought my new 535 from Motorwerks Barrington specifically because of Bob Arnesen. I've known Bob for a long time, and I trust him to c BMW stores, I bought my new 535 from Motorwerks Barrington specifically because of Bob Arnesen. I've known Bob for a long time, and I trust him to consistently do his best to get me comfortable with the deal This transaction was no exception. We negotiated it via e-mail and over the phone, and when I drove my trade from Minneapolis to Barrington, Bob made sure everything went exactly as we had discussed. He also made sure that everyone on the Motorwerks deal team, from prep to the guy who introduced me to the car, to the finance team made me feel like I was their only customer. Simply stated, Bb helps you get comfortable BUYING a car, instead of SELLING you a car.........there's a big difference, and I appreciated his approach. He did recommend the BMW extended warranty, and I bought it because I trust his judgment. Overall, a wonderful, smooth transaction and buying experience, and I couldn't be happier with the car and the deal. More
My salesperson, Dustin Rocha made the grade today. Dustin was patient and helped with my questions over the buying process and the car itself. I became impressed with the dealership amenities and service dep was patient and helped with my questions over the buying process and the car itself. I became impressed with the dealership amenities and service department as Dustin toured me around the dealership. I also met and worked with more courteous professional staff like Eric Claeson in Accessories and Tony Dee in Finance. It's very important and absolutely critical to me, I have confidence in my salesperson and the Motorwerks dealership as a whole to know I'm making the right decision to purchase. Many Thanks to Dustin for helping instill the confidence I needed to make my Mercedes purchase and to the rest of the staff for helping create our future relationship. Larry Gresham. More

Sean has been great to work with. He went out of his way to deliver the product to me in downtown Chicago. I had an issue right with the vehicle right after I had accepted delivery, and Sean has seen to it to deliver the product to me in downtown Chicago. Purchased brand new Mercedes Benz AMG E63. The sales associate explained that the dealership cannot locate the manuals (the leather booklet case with all the literature) for the car, promised to order o associate explained that the dealership cannot locate the manuals (the leather booklet case with all the literature) for the car, promised to order one and go over the car features later. After 48 days, I still do not have my manuals, no Tele-Aid activated (Like OnStar system), no warranty guide, no follow up, missing factory literature that came with the vehicle. I still do not know how to use navigation system to the fullest. After 10+ calls, multiple visits to the dealership, they seem to not care much nor take charges to take care of the issue. This is a typical dealership service where they do everything to sell your car and once you take the car out of the dealership, you are no longer valuable to them. I do not recommend Motor Werks, Barrington IL. I will be staying away from this place as long as I can. More
