Disappointed with MB of Fort Mitchell. I contacted this dealer regarding a Certified 2025 MB GLC they had for sale. It was the color and optioned the way my wife wanted but they are 250 mi I contacted this dealer regarding a Certified 2025 MB GLC they had for sale. It was the color and optioned the way my wife wanted but they are 250 miles from us as we reside in Michigan. I spoke to the salesperson numerous times regarding the condition of this vehicle. I have texts to verify all of my claims. I specifically asked him to take a good look at the vehicle for me and asked him if there was any paint damage or door dings, dents etc. He looked over the vehicle and said there was not....paint was perfect. After a 4.5 hour drive and an overnight hotel stay we proceeded to the dealer in the morning. When we arrived to see the vehicle, my wife noticed a decent sized door ding on the driver's side rear door. The salesman said "we had our guy try to remove it but he couldn't" He KNEW there was a door ding and didn't even disclose it when specifically asked about it. I was upset after driving that far and he said that if I got someone in Michigan to repair it, they would gladly re-imburse me for the repair. After arriving home, I contacted our local MB dealer, and they recommended a local guy that would come to my home and remove it. The gentleman came to our home and repaired it. He asked for $200 cash which I paid him. I asked him for a receipt, but he said this was a cash job and he didn't have a receipt book. He suggested taking a photo and sending the photo to MB Ft Mitchell. I contacted MB of Ft Mitchell and told them what happened and they said without a receipt they couldn't generate a check for me and I was out of luck. I was disappointed at their answer so they said they would send my wife and I some items from their internal MB Store. He said that was the best he could do. We never even received those items. Very disappointed that they weren't more honest about the door ding in the first place. They knew I was far away and relying on their honesty. More
