Professional and friendly! Got the deal done without a bunch of back and forth. Everyone was great and even cracked a few jokes along the way! Will buy from them again! We had too much pressure to purchase the warranty in finance dept, which was discussed over and over and over again. It got to the point of frustration and anger but we tried to be as respectful as possible. More
Sneaky sales tactics. Replacing prices. Selling us things that are included already like key fob insurance then we find out it’s included. Adding warranty when we thought Replacing prices. Selling us things that are included already like key fob insurance then we find out it’s included. Adding warranty when we thought that was included so sneaking in $6000 when we did not authorise. Calling warranty under Zurich rather than saying warranty so we had no idea what the $6000 fee was - sure, it’s a 3rd party company. And why sell us a 3rd party warranty? That seems like Mercedes can’t stand behind their own service department? Adding things like scratch resistance coating when we never asked for ing us to pay for it. Another thing is the way they charge - adding to our monthly payment rather than telling us how much we are paying. Complete scams - someone should really look into how they conduct business. We buy a car every three years and I won’t be going back. We bought 5 cars in 6 years from Audi down the street and they never had these tactics. You hit a new low. More
I felt very positive about the experience with the salesman, people I spoke with on the phone & the finance manager. I thought it was an upgraded & courteous experience. I did not feel positively w salesman, people I spoke with on the phone & the finance manager. I thought it was an upgraded & courteous experience. I did not feel positively when I didn't receive any email or phone response about my two emails, one phone call & letter I mailed about cancelling the Zurich Extended Warranty. I finally called Zurich. The representative I spoke with told me the extended warranty had been cancelled. No one from Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin let me know it was cancelled! I was stressing about getting it cancelled within 30 days. I felt disappointed that the Finance Manger did not respond to the 2 emails, letter or return the phone call. I liked him & appreciated my interaction with him. The Zurich rep told me the cancellation was handled by the Accounting Dept. Not the Finance Manager. The Accounting Dept. really left me hanging there, wondering what was going on! Plus, they compromised the trust I experienced with the Finance Manager. The Accounting Dept. needs to recognize the importance of communicating to the customer they received my cancellation letter & cancelled the extended warranty. They also should have informed me about the process of my refund. Instead, I had to call Zurich for the information. More
