Lease buyout of 2016 E350. I leased my E350 for the first three years and decided it was such a great car I would buy it out after the lease. During the buyout process I accept I leased my E350 for the first three years and decided it was such a great car I would buy it out after the lease. During the buyout process I accepted the offer to purchase for $1,500.00 the CPO process which would make my car eligible for a an extra year of prepaid maintenance and a point deduction for financing. Mercedes advertises all their CPO vehicles go through a comprehensive 125 point inspection. Here’s where there problem started. The dealer doesn’t have to complete the 125 point inspection to be able to call it Certified Pre-Owned (CPO). They can pick and choose what they do or don’t do. After two days I picked my car up. It was dirtier then it was when dropped off, the floor mats and seat had grease spots and it wasn’t even vacuumed. In addition the wiper blades chattered across the windshield. They needed replacing. The sales manager offered to pick up the car and clean it as best he could. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend doing a lease buyout from VonHousen. It’s better to walk away from your lease and if you want a CPO, pick one from the lot. Those are very well presented. They are clean, polished and in good condition More
