I would definitely recommend Metro Honda and my salesperson Jason Hoefel to anyone in the market for a vehicle. I've purchased many vehicles, but this was my first from Metro. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional is how I would describe every member of the Metro team I dealt with. From the moment I was greeted by my salesperson, to the every end, I felt extremely comfortable throughout every aspect of my purchase. I have already referred several people to this dealership and have yet to hear a negative comment from any of them. I will definitely return to Metro at the end of this lease to renew, given the exceptional treatment I received. Thank you Jason, Marcus, Lisandro, and John C!!!! More

This Review is for Metro Honda in Jersey City, NJ 07305: They respond fast and make fake promises (give you low price or say they can match your price from another dealer) just to lure you to go over. When you go, they make a different sales person to work with you and find a lousy excuse for the absence of the person who you first contacted with, and they try to sell a different color vehicle to you adding it is the only one left, not to mention with a horrible attitude like take or leave it. If you decide to walk-out, they will make fake promises again by saying things like "if you put the down payment today, we will look the car you want for you by tomorrow". They come up with another price so much higher than the one you received in the quote and doubting where and how you came up with that price. They don't give you the full price, don't tell you how they did the calculations, just wanting to rip you off. They also state that GAP Insurance if a MUST because it is a new car, such bad liar. Please believe every bad reviews you see in this board, I personally experienced almost every single things mentioned in these bad reviews. I'm just glad that I read them before I went to the dealer so I was prepared to deal with all these liars and dishonest salesperson. If you want a Honda, this is definitely not the place you want to go, I wonder how can they still have business with people. I personally recommend DCH HParamus onda, those are people that treat customers like the way it should and very honest, I got my CR-V with them the day after I went to Metro Honda. More

I shopped various Honda dealers in the NY/NJ area looking for the best price on a 2010 Honda Pilot. Metro quoted me the best price with the least hassle. I don't like haggling. He was very available and readily answered my questions whether while I was there in person or by telephone on various days at various times. A second person with whom I had to deal to have my vehicle registered in NYS was also very courteous, helpful, and impressed me as being quite efficient. The vehicle was very nicely prepped for delivery and ready when promised. Also, I feel they gave me very good value on my trade-in. I did not rate "quality of work" because I assumed that applied to a service call which I did not have. More

I found that I was always on the defensive when it comes to speakiing with car salesmen, can you really believe what they say? Well, I've been to many dealerships in the NY/NJ metro area & this was the first one that I've come along that I felt so comfortable in dealing with the people. I truly believe that it was in big part due to how knowledgeable & extremely friendly my salesman was. Ellis Tavarez treated me & my 4-year-old daughter so well, he was so nice to us, like we had been friends forever! I truly believe that my great experience at Metro Honda was all because of how much I trusted Ellis & the information he was providing to me. He was extremely professional, even when answering my "hundreds of questions"! Ellis was greatly concerned with the my needs, both in what I wanted in my car as well as what I could afford. He did everything he could to help me attain the best of both -- this characteristic is very rare, especially in the auto industry! I am very appreciative to my salesman, Elis Tavarez & for the entire Metro Honda team! I will definitely be back to renew my lease! More

This REview is for Metro Honda (NJ 07305) I went in to purchase a Honda Accord 2009 in September 2009, when the rates are considered good, They had only 1 in the color I wanted (2009 model), For XYZ reaso purchase a Honda Accord 2009 in September 2009, when the rates are considered good, They had only 1 in the color I wanted (2009 model), For XYZ reason I couldn't buy before 3 weeks, they agreed to HOLD my car for a deposit check of $2000, (NON- REFUNDABLE). They sold off the Car in 1.5 weeks and called me, telling me that they sold it BY MISTAKE. ( that is clear BS*, they must have got a better price). This is so unacceptable. My wife and I were soo looking forward to buy this car particularly the color which was only available with them, and they SOLD it even after we placed a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $2000. THEY ARE A CHEAT. I will not recommend them. They could have sold me a 2010 for a resonable price increase but they wouldn't decrease the price on the 2010 either to equalize their mistake. I had to CANCEL the deal, which was so very sad for my Wife and I. (WE WASTED the Entire WEEKEND, not to mention we had to rent a car for 2 days for this) I Recommend you go to some other dealer like Hudson Honda. More

I was recently wrecked my 1997 Honda Civic and needless to say did not receive much from my insurance company. With what little money I had, I went out looking for something decent I could get into that I to say did not receive much from my insurance company. My credit wasn't the best, and I found several other area dealers to be rude and abrupt once they saw my credit report. It's almost as if they didn't want to sell me a car! I traveled a half hour from home to Metro Honda, desperate to find someone who would work with me, and I was not disappointed. I explained my situation to my salesperson, Jason Hoefel, and then spent some time reviewing my credit report. We found a 2005 Honda Civic that I fell in love with, and then waited as Jason went to his managers (assuming he would come back and say he could not help). Instead, I was shocked when his manager Lisandro came over to sit with me, again going over my credit report trying to see what the best approach would be to get me into a vehicle. After speaking with Lisandro (who was wonderful), he and Jason went to sit with the finance manager who spent time working with several banks to see who would approve me for a loan and they got the job done! They detailed the car while I met with the finance manager Marcus. Instead of getting "strong-armed" into buying more at insane prices, I found Marcus to be very courteous and professional, and even gave me a great deal on a service plan through Honda! I regret all the time I spent going from dealership to dealership, I shhould have gone there first and would suggest the same to anyone looking to have a pleasant car buying experience. They are very dishonest people. The salesman quoted a price over phone and instructed me to come over. They were telling me that they will beat the price I have got from another dealer. I wasted around 1 Hr to drive to there dealership, met with the sales man, then he quoted me a price which way greater than the quote I had from another dealer(say Garden State Honda). They were telling me that nobody can beat the price. I just walked away from there, went to Garden State Honda and purchased car right away. From my experience I wont refer this dealership to any other person. They play lot of games to get you fooled. More
