Took my truck in for inspection, told me what was wrong, took a bit to fix due to my disability. I recommend Mike Anderson Chevrolet. After, having a not so pleasant experience at other car dealerships I was reluctant to go to another. When I walked in I was greeted by Big Rob the sales manager. Rob introduced me to Rafael! Rafael is kind, patient and understanding. He never pressured me into buying a car. He listened to my concerns. After several hours I could not decide what I wanted. We ended up choosing 2020 Chevy Equinox. I am so thankful I went to Mike Anderson today! Thank you Big Rob and Rafael for changing my mind on car salespeople! I will be recommending you to all of my family and friends here! More

I am not one to air out my frustrations publicly, however after my experience with Mike Anderson Chevrolet, something needs to be done. Let me start from the beginning. I had to get my tail light fixed and c after my experience with Mike Anderson Chevrolet, something needs to be done. Let me start from the beginning. I had to get my tail light fixed and chose to get it done at CDE collision after I read the positive reviews. They took my car in and did an initial inspection of the vehicle. They brought to my attention that the paint sealer on the hood of my car has already begun to peal. The hood of my car had been re-painted and improperly sealed. I told them that I just bought my car 8 months ago certified Pre owed from Mike Anderson- I wasn’t aware of it being painted. CDE advised me to take it back to Mike Anderson and have them redo the hood since it was is unacceptable. I did as they suggested; however, I was met with unprofessionalism by the supervisor of Mike Anderson’s Merrillville service shop whose name was Sean O’Donnell, and he said there were no other superiors I could talk to besides Mike Anderson himself. He offered no solution to my problem, and when I told him I was going else where, he saluted me off rudely. I wouldn’t of minded paying for my hood to be fixed if it was discounted or something was accommodated since this wasn’t disclosed about my car being painted beforehand. I’m upset with the service, again no solution, and I will never buy another car from Mike Anderson again. I want to thank CDE Collision for going above and beyond to help me repair my car- especially Kim and Bob. More
Sean O Donnell in service is a great guy to deal with, helped me with my 18 GMC Sierra, upfront and honest and doesn't beat around the bush, wish all service departments were the same. HORRIBLE! I was called to pick up my car after the "Environmental Package" was to be done, which is already an all day thing. My daughter drove all the way from Kouts, IN to Merrillville, to pick me u "Environmental Package" was to be done, which is already an all day thing. My daughter drove all the way from Kouts, IN to Merrillville, to pick me up so a loaner wasn't needed. I got the call that my car was ready for pick up. After being dropped off, my car was brought to me. When I got inside and saw that the mileage was 2,000 miles more than when I dropped it off, I got out of the car and looked at the rims, to realize they had given me someone else's vehicle. I told them what happened and waited for them to find my car for a good 20 more minutes. When I received my actual car, nothing on my vehicle had been touched. I called Debbie when I got home to find out what they had done to it, because I noticed absolutely NOTHING. Steve, the service manager, called me back to apologize and told me that he would see to it that I received a loaner vehicle and a $20 gas card. I went in to drop the car off AGAIN, to listen to three people arguing about what Steve told me, and then Steve acting like what he offered was something that I requested. I will NEVER be back. I don't know what has happened, but horrible customer service from the service department! Sorry Bill Alter, you have always been amazing to work with, clearly, our immediate family has purchased seven vehicles from you in the past three years. More
