My Review of MileOne Herb Gordon Subaru:
I went to Herb Gordon first because it was the closest Subaru dealer to me. Afterwards, I went to others in the area, including FitzMall in Kensington. While pricing was close enough to be a non-issue, the service I got at Herb Gordon made all the difference. Arriving on the lot, I was greeted and asked what vehicle I was interested in. I was looking for a WRX 5-door and Jason, my salesperson recognized that I knew what I wanted and adjusted promptly, pointing out finer details and trim level differences, rather than obvious specs I could have recited to him. We were soon test driving, and Jason selected a longer route than other salespeople at the same auto mall had, allowing a better chance to get a feel for the car. Returning, he put no pressure on me to get to the table, understanding I had other shopping to do.

After deciding the WRX was the car for me, I began getting online quotes from dealers in the area. Jason was as in touch as I needed, but didn't pester. Herb Gordon matched or beat every deal I got from other dealerships. Once a price was agreed upon, it was set. Additions (fabric treatment and tire insurance, ect) were offered and explained but not pushed. No silly charges were added. Once at the finance table, Eric was thoroughly helpful, and explained everything as he did it. No under the table funny business.

As an aside, Eric is clearly a true Subaru enthusiast, and it showed in his interactions with me. I felt like I was not simply a customer, but a new member of the Subaru enthusiast community. I will definitely be going back to him for advice as I find ways to make my new car my own creation.

Finally, when taking my car to detail, it was found that a light had been left on and the battery was drained. Instead of jumping it, and trusting it to be ok, the parts department put in a brand new battery. While obviously the right course of action, I never would have known if they had cut corners, until I got stranded somewhere.

All in all, I chose to work with Herb Gordon because not only was their pricing extremely competitive, but I felt the most comfortable with their staff. Excellent customer service, low pressure, and enjoyable to work with.

It was an overall great experience from the moment I got my first e-mail until I finally purchased my car it was a great experience. Jason was very knowledgable, took his time to fully explain everything to me. If there were questions he didn't know he would find out the answer for me. I would most definately recomend this dealership to other people.

The Herb Gordon team is a great group of people. They are uberknowledgable about their product and just as approachable as can be. Unlike some other dealerships in the metro area they don't try to trick you or put you down. I can't say enough positive things about Herb Gordon. Go there will all due immediacy!! You will be glad you did.

Got the head gasket leaking and my brakes were really bad in my 07 subaru
Michael was really nice and friendly provided the best service i have ever had.
The car was fixed the next day. Also they gave me full size rental car which was amizing.A+++++

My Review of MileOne Herb Gordon Subaru:
After doing considerable research on Subaru's Forester, I began looking for a dealership in the Maryland area. Michael Roy, General Sales Manager at MileOne Herb Gordon Subaru, responded immediately to my email inquiries. I followed up with several questions over the next couple of days and he always got back with me in a very short period of time. His thoroughness in answering all of my questions made the visit easier because I already felt comfortable working with him. When I arrived, he and Jason Withrow took care of me and they addressed all of my concerns with thoughtful responses. They showed me several cars and encouraged me to test drive different vehicles as I was trying to decide whether to go with manual or an automatic. They were professional and friendly, making me feel at home in their company and never making me feel rushed to make a decision. I settled on a car and was able to drive it home that evening. My overall impression is that Michael and Jason are professionals who enjoy what they do because they made the experience fun and they helped me find the car that best meets my needs. I will highly recommend Michael Roy and Jason Withrow at Herb Gordon to anyone interested in buying or leasing a new car.

Very straightforward and helpful. Lakshman was very knowledgeable about Subaru technology, options, etc. He was very patient as we deliberated multiple possibilities, and allowed us to make multiple comparative test rides. Option we wanted was not on the model we picked, but was installed while we did the paperwork. Pricing is upfront, and available on the web. "Extras" available at sale, but no high pressure, or "let me tell you why it's a mistake to pass this up." I'd deal with them again with pleasure for my next Subaru

My Review of MileOne Herb Gordon Subaru:
I just wanted the owner Mr. Gordon and the managers to know how grateful my husband and I are to Ken Hanscom for his performance in carrying us through major repairs to our 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan that we purchased at Herb Gordon dealership. Our previous Dodge van was also purchased here which lasted for 10 years and 250,000 miles. Our vans have also been serviced by Herb Gordon for 16 years. As long-term customers, Ken has advised us countless numbers of times with recommendations that I can trust with my daughter's life as well as my own. Throughout the years, he has consistently distinguished himself through his service to my family with the highest level of professionalism. He is extremely intellegent, professional, and knowledgeable in the expert range at his job. And his experience well exceeds the parameters of his position. This is why I have faith in his judgement in advising us of what decisions to make in deciding expecially this most recent decision in whether to replace our transmission or replace the van with 130,000 miles on it. His calm, confident and caring behavior is what got me throught spending that much money. But he very kindly gave us a discount which made it much easier to make this decision. We will always come here for our auto needs because I can trust Ken like a close friend to always tell me the truth. I wish they all were as trustworthy and kind like Ken. I have recommended Herb Gordon to all my family members and friends as being a place that you can trust because of our experience with Ken. They too, have been very pleased with the Herb Gordon dealership.

The sales person, John Ritchie did not pressure us into buying and was very knowledgeable about Subaru and the model which we purchased. He was very prompt in answering his phone and follow up was excellent. The finance person, Eric was also a pleasure to work with. Both are extremely friendly and efficient. We would recommend these gentlemen and dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle.

Shop here first if you are looking to buy a new Subaru! It we had known this, we would have saved ourselves a lot of time and effort. Michael and Justine are extremely professional and truly know and love the Subaru brand!!! The buying experience was very pleasurable. They gave us a fair price and were wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking at Subaru.
