My Review Of Moore Motor Sales:
I took my 2005 Grand Cherokee in to have a radiator put in it on 4/15/13, which I also purchased from this dealership. I first talked to Dave who gave me a price of $676 for parts and labor. I also have a 20% off coupon. On 4/17/13 Mickelle calls me up and says its done and its going to be $684, minus 20% $576, which I thought was odd since I did the math. I show up to pick up my Jeep and now the price is $708 before the 20%, mind you I just talked to Mickelle 10 mins prior to picking it up. I asked about it and all Mickelle could say is "I don't know how I got that price", like she didn't say $684 at all, and basically handed me the invoice with that o'well look on her face. I then talked to Brad Moore (owner) and asked how they could give a pick up price and then change it. He told me there's a 15% leeway on all prices given for work, I was never informed of that at all. I brought just enough cash to pay for it and told Brad that if I would had to drive home to get more money I wasn't gonna be any happier...his response was "most of our customers uses credit cards". I am not most customers!! The price was suppose to be $676 minus 20% which would have been $540.80, I paid $576. Pretty upset I go out to my Jeep and look it over, the Jeep has greasy hand prints all over the hood, greasy belly marks on both fenders. I called and got with Dave again, he wants me to drop my Jeep off so they can wash it. Shouldn't that be done before being picked up!!!!??? I'll spend the $5 bucks to wash it myself and NEVER do business in that place again. This isn't the first time I had service done on my Jeep there. First time I needed a starter replaced and they had to push it in the shop. I got it back with hand prints everywhere. Very pushy sales and finance people, I know I should have walked away from that, but my families done business here for 25 years. Be aware, very aware!!!! Dave said he was gonna see what he could do, suppose to get a call back....I'm not looking forward to it.
Forgot to add this one, I had them put a wiring harness for towing that didn't require cutting wires. I gave the part number to them and I got a call back saying this won't work on your Jeep. I found this harness on JustforJeeps.com, I called them and they confirmed in fact it did. I then call Marllete Chrysler and Garber Chrysler with them reassuring what JustforJeeps just said. Called Moores back and after about 15 mins their parts guy says "oh yep I found it over here". Good luck if you decide to use them.
