The day after my son drove it off the lot, he noticed the steering wheel shifted and the truck had a hard pull. I had him bring it to my shop and put it on the alignment rack and noticed it immediately. In less than 500 miles, the ball joint was falling out of the upper control arm. They refused to fix it or to cover the cost of the repairs. The warranty we purchased that covers everything wouldn't cover it because it was "too new" and because of what it was and the dealership should be responsible. We live north of Athens and the salesman said he could have save us a few hundred bucks if we had brought it back to them. What a joke. How does it make sense to tow a truck 2 hours to save "a few hundred bucks". If this had happened while my son was driving, they would not want to see me. Maybe they should not try to do repairs as cheap as possible. If they had properly pressed in the ball joint, it wouldn't have come out. You can look at it and tell it wasn't done properly. You can tell the ball joint on the side is brand new. I have worked in the automotive industry for 15+years and currently run a shop. This is not how you do business. The salesman would not respond to text or calls after I explained that I knew what I was talking about and they were at fault. That kinda shows your guilt there buddy...Then he tried to tell me the ball joint came out because it was a lifted truck...yeah ok...just keep eating and selling cars because you obviously don't know what you're talking about when it comes to repairs. If the ball joint was properly pressed in when replaced, it wouldn't come out in less than 500 miles regardless of if the truck is lifted! If the safety of your family members is important to you, I would not trust these people. We have already had to replaced several things on this truck that we not repaired properly. They buy these things and band-aid them just enough to get them off the lot and then refuse to fix what they didn't do right. I am aware that this is a used vehicle and it is not perfect. But faulty repairs on suspension components can be very dangerous to the driver or other cars on the road. Of course they will respond with "we can't predict when a vehicle will have mechanical failures blah blah blah"...but you can properly repair them initially before you sell it, or provide good customer service when you screw up! Stay far away from these guys!! More
Drove 3 hours to view a vehicle with a couple others I wanted to look at in case the first vehicle had any hidden issues. Vehicle was in dire need of new tie rods and wheel bearings and honestly felt unsafe to drive however I was ready to make a deal as it was a vehicle I wanted and I was willing to put in the work to fix it. Dealer refused to budge on price saying he would rather it sit for another 2 months than to take anything off the price even though it clearly needed work. Still I was willing so I said let’s sit down and work out the paperwork. Salesperson stated we could fill out the loan application but I would have to come back to tomorrow to finish the paperwork. I explained again that I had to drive 3 hours each way and this was not acceptable. Dealer did not care. Clearly they could care less about selling a vehicle as they refused to stay the extra 30 minutes to close the deal. I went down the road to Speedway Ford and purchased my new vehicle there. No hassle, no up sell, no crazy add-on’s and was honestly the easiest time I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. They stayed open past closing time an extra hour to close the deal. Speedway Ford clearly cared about the customer whereas MotorMax basically was the exact opposite and represented everything I hate about dealers. More

The quality of service from this company was extremely poor. I bought a vehicle that was in terrible condition and required substantial repairs (but I was totally unaware because they bandaged it up). It poor. I bought a vehicle that was in terrible condition and required substantial repairs (but I was totally unaware because they bandaged it up). It has now been at the dealership for an extended period of time. Furthermore, I was charged for title work at the dealership, but the information submitted to my tag office did not reflect the payment I had made. As a result, I was forced to pay an additional fee. Despite reaching out to the company regarding this discrepancy and being informed by Melissa that a check would be mailed to me, I have yet to receive any compensation. It is disheartening to witness the prevalence of dishonest practices in the modern business landscape, and it is deeply problematic that businesses such as the one I am describing are allowed to exploit hard-working individuals. It is worth noting that I did not receive financing from this business; rather, I walked in with a pre-written check with the intention to purchase the desired vehicle. I was taken aback when it was suggested to me that dealerships such as this are typically intended for individuals with few other options. Prospective customers should exercise caution when considering engaging with this business More
Sales Lady was Perfect. Manager was less than 1 star. I have been in the automotive business since 1982 and I have seen it all. OBD 2 Inspection is required on any vehicle that is sold by a dealership. Selling a car to someone that lives in a non-inspection county because the SES light is on is a bunch of xxxxxxxx. Big Fine, Loss of Dealer license, possibly more if an audit is conducted. That being said I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. But I will enjoy the 2005 BMW 545i that I purchased 2 days ago with no SES light on, inspected and runs great. Like I told you earlier, Julia was topnotch 10STARS!! More
