My Review of Napleton Ford in Libertyville:
Brought truck for antifreeze leak, gave me an estimate to replace hose and t-stat housing along with 2 light bulbs and fix a leak in a tire. Told them not to due the light bulbs or the tire and that the other price seemed like alot. Eric service writer responded we will try to help you out with the price when done. got the bill for the entire amount they went ahead and replaced the bulbs and fixed the tire even though I said no and charged full price for all repairs including the ones I said not to perform. To top it off 5000 miles later truck is leaking antifreeze worse than ever.

My Review of Napleton Ford in Libertyville:
I am a masters student and as such on a very tight budget. I didn't really want to have a monthly payment as finances are tight, but I had put $2000 in the '96 Saturn I was driving over the past year and needed to get rid of it. Tim was very upfront with my family and I and went above and beyond to find a safe and reliable car for me. Tim and Jeff went back and forth with the banks and the prices of the car and my trade in for hours in order to get the car I liked down to a price I could afford. I had been all over the other dealerships in the area and none of them were as friendly or helpful as the staff at Napleton Ford. I will go back there anytime I am in need of a new or used car as they are genuinely good people who will bend over backwards to help you find what you need.

Tim delivered my new F-150 as my salesman was home ill. What a nice guy. He was very enthusiastic and really seemed to enjoy showing me all the ins & outs of my new car. Tim is a great Ford rep and you should be proud of him. He loves what he does and it shows. Kudos.

My Review of Napleton Ford in Libertyville:
I recently purchased a Land Rover LR3 from Napleton Ford in Libertyville & feel compelled to write a review on the team I worked with as these guys were more than just sales people, they have the customers best interests at heart & take service to a whole new meaning.

Tim who greated me on arrivcal at the dealership has a calm & pleasant demaenour let me view the vehicle & didnt pounce on me or hassle me at all. We went on a really long test drive, way more than I expected to ensure I was truly happy with the vehicle, chatting the whole way round more like friends than a salesman.

Being from overseas & having recently moved to the US, arranging payment for the car once we had agreed the sale wasnt simple but Napletons were really accomodating & trusting allowing me to take the car away despite only recieving partial payment.

They fixed any blemishes or marks on the car to a very high standard & i'm fussy but cant fault the workmanship.

Thanks again to this great team & in particular, Tim & Steve, you guys are awesome & a real pleasure to deal with. I'll be back & will relay my thoughts to anyone I meet who are looking for a new / used car.

My Review of Napleton Ford in Libertyville:
Gene Holst is probably the best service manager with whom I have ever dealt. One concern any customer has in dealing with automobile service is whether the customer will get ripped off, since the customer does not know what is wrong with the vehicle. Gene Holst acted in such a way as to engender my trust -- he was always looking for the less expensive alternative to undertaking work on my vehicle. The dealership certainly made money off of me, and the rates are not inexpensive, but Gene tried to keep the costs down and looked out for my interests. He is fantastic, and since he is the Service Manager, I trust that his attitude flows down to others in his department. He alone would make me a long-time Napelton customer, since a trusting service department is essential in any automobile purchase. Kudos to Gene Holst!

This was the best car dealership experience I've ever had. The sales person, Tim Barcal, was terrific to work with. He understood my needs in buying a car, and made shopping with Napleton a very pleasant experience for me. Victor, the business manager, made the decisions related to financing easy and understandable and the total transaction was fast and easy. Napleton Ford is a friendly and easy place to shop for a car and Tim Barcal is a terrific and knowledgable salesperson.

My Review of Napleton Ford in Libertyville:
Started out working with Burt, who did a great job of finding 3 or 4 edges and escapes to test drive with a wide assortment of bells and whistles. I had let him know that I was shopping cars and that I would still be going out after my test drives to look at another car dealer. I was given much information and was very pleased with the help I had received. As I was leaving Steve came out to enthusiastically show me one specific car that Bert had not shown me, an edge sport. I had told him the same about still wanting to look at one more car at another dealer, but I would be letting them know at some point my decision. I came back a couple of hours later with my wife, Burt was no longer there and worked with Tim and Stephen. Those 2 individuals were the most "non-stereotypical" car salesmen that I have ever had the pleasure to encounter at a car dealer. I highly recommend Tim and his sales manager Stephen, not only did they get our business on a great car with an incredible price, but the experience was painless.

Great, friendly service! I wasn't able to afford the car I wanted, but Rich found me another car with everything I wanted and then some! I'm so happy with my purchase! He took everything into consideration: how much I drive, that I travel, that I have a dog, I participate in sports; to make sure my life would fit into my new car! So far so good! I don't have any complaints! Thanks Rich!

My Review of Napleton Ford in Libertyville:
I went to Napleton Ford in Libertyville on 11/7/2011 with the intention of finding out if I could trade-in my 2009 Pontiac G8 GT for a new car, and lower my car payment. I walked in and was greeted by Tim Barcal, my randomly-assigned salesperson. Tim is definitely not the stereotypical salesperson, much to my delight! As a woman, and financial professional, I appreciate being treated with respect and integrity, and Tim accomplished both with ease.

I did not "want" to trade-in my G8, because it was very sporty and fun to drive. The whole reason I went to the dealership was to see if I could lower my car payment while still being able to drive a nice car.

We started out by test-driving an Escape, but it just wasn't "me". I then asked Tim if we could try a Mustang. He was more than willing to take the time to find the right option for my situation. When he was about to get the keys for the Mustang test-drive, I hesitantly asked if we could try a Taurus instead. I realized that I needed something more practical than a sport coupe, and he was happy to oblige my request.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish of the Taurus, and the quality of the interior. It was a smooth ride, and very comfortable! The negotiations began ...

Tim was a great mediator, and helped balance the deal for a win-win scenario. In the end, the dealership won my business, and I was able to get a brand new car with a lower monthly payment. Even though I traded in my muscle car for a sensible car, Tim was able to make the transaction as smooth and positive as it could be. I couldn't be happier!

My Review of Napleton Ford in Libertyville:
Tim and Tom were very upfront friendly and honest. I was very comfortable with them, Tom helped place the order for the fusion sel with Navigation and I was sorry to hear he left right before it arrived. Though I am thrilled to say that Tim stepped in and was very helpful and made the purchase so quick and helped me to understand my new car! I would definitely recommend Tim to my family and friends if they are looking for a Ford!

I have to say my interaction with Larry was very displeasing. He misdirected me by telling me the fusion didn't come in the size engine I was looking for, at the time we believed him but after doing some further research on the web
. I fugu red out it did indeed. Only reason why I interacted with him is that Tom wasn't in that day for a second meeting before ordering.

On a better note, I have to say I am thrilled that it's the second day and I love my new car and glad I choose to purchase at Ford Napleton in Libertyville.

I recommend though for the future that the Internet sales and in office sales share records so there aren't a cross over of calls as I did submit inquiries online and talked with in person. I mentioned working with Tom Mucia when filling out the forms online.

Also, I know its not often but a notice that Tom was no longer with the dealership so I could have directed any inquires to whoever would be taking over my purchase would have been nice as I had been emailing him to check on the status as I was anxious for the arrival would have been better then walking in to say hello and finding out I was without a rep. Though it was comforting to know that there was word on a soon delivery date then expected!

Overall I gave my ratings high end as I have been thrilled overall and hope to return for any maintance or service in the future!!!
