Good experience, but definitely could've been better. We go back and forth on the recommendation with a strong MAYBE. Pleasant sales people. I guess we got the price we wanted to pay, per month, with little haggling; but the pricing wasn't clear to be honest between cost vs incentives vs money down until we sat down to do the paperwork. After a test drive, we did end up getting a hybrid even though that wasn't what we came in for, but the $7500 instant rebate on electric vehicles really sold us on it. There was some pressure; "This other family is looking at the 4xe, so whoever makes up their mind first..." We were there a LONG time though (Too long. 5 1/2 hours, they were short staffed) and there was nothing to eat or drink, other than vending machine junk. Had to buy bottled waters and almost door dashed food. You'd think buying a $60,000 car they could offer some bottled water but I digress. Anyway, typical dealers game though as far as the window etching, which by the time we saw the finance guy the windows were already etched (CLEARLY they did this while we sat there waiting, because they never cleaned the dust off the etch which wasn't there prior to them "detailing" the vehicle for us, so our suspicion was correct) so we were forced to pay $399 for that which we didn't appreciate and didn't want. There are also a lot of high priced fees that were added. License registration fee of $643 (seriously??), Acquisition fee of $895, Dealer Doc fee of $398, Window etching $399, Tire Tax was $7.50 (should've been $6.00), so they are really adding in a lot of fees here and there to boost profit even though they said "We don't play games with fees like a prep fee" (no but it's there, just hidden in a more official sounding tagline). By the time we got to this point we were so tired and hungry and just didn't want to walk out over a few hundred bucks after they ran our credit, but I guess that's how they get you. Vehicle sticker is $62,555 inflated on the lease to $65,205. Learn from our mistake. Go early in the AM, bring food/water, and ask everything well BEFORE you get to Tommy the finance manager. Also for the record, this goes for any dealership; please make sure demo cars and cars to purchase have both a full charge and full tank of gas. One 4xe had a miniscule % which ran out on our test drive, and the Overland had so little gas it wouldn't register. Our new hybrid came with a 0% charge on the battery and it was sitting right in the showroom so no excuse for that. More
