BEWARE They Scam YOU, The NEW NISSAN OF PITTS. SINCE Dec 2022 Had the vehicle in they quoted me an outrageous price to fix the door window. I gave them my information and had a top of line extende SINCE Dec 2022 Had the vehicle in they quoted me an outrageous price to fix the door window. I gave them my information and had a top of line extended warranty 7yrs 1000.000 miles Also Nissan Powertrain warranty 100.000 miles I have always buys warranties 2018 Nissan 23000 miles on it called All State to confirm they paid to fix it. said yes I knew they did because 6 - 2022 Nissan fixed the driver side window. Their vehicles are junk. The person who I was dealing with Rob was great Now the so-called manager comes over and sits behind Rob and tells me they don't take All State I would have to pay out of pocket and tell him they do. I left and called All State and they confirmed They submitted 4 different charges between DEC. 2022 and now. and informed All State that Nissan of Pittsfield was trying to double dip charging both myself and them. BEWARE. looked at their vehicle while I waited they are charging $1000's more than other Nissan of Bennington. VT. More
**BEWARE** First communication started Saturday 11/25/23. I had explained to different people that were texting with me that my credit was horrible and I didn’t want to drive an hour away to be tol 11/25/23. I had explained to different people that were texting with me that my credit was horrible and I didn’t want to drive an hour away to be told the same thing that I had been told locally by other dealers. I also didn’t want my credit ran a bunch more times because I knew the outcome. All communication just stopped on their end. That right there put a bad taste in my mouth about this dealership. Then on Thursday morning I received a phone call from a woman who said they were holding a financing special that had been extended. I was told after explaining again my credit problems that I shouldn’t worry about that and I definitely should come in and meet with their “finance specialist” he has great relationships with many banks to get me approved. AGAIN I explained I didn’t have a co-signer or a huge down payment and didn’t want to an hour away for nothing. I was told no no you won’t be wasting your time. So like a naïve person I took the hour drive. When 1st arriving I was met by Austin who was personable and friendly. I filled out another credit application as I had already done online. I was quickly passed off to the sales manager Wyel. He said that a cosigner would help for income reasons and the credit history wouldn’t really matter. Well guess what? That was not true. He then said the down payment would have to be higher, wow shocker, like I didn’t already hear that before. He also proceeded to tell me he could get me into a new car (Nissan Kicks front wheel drive) I was needing a 4 cylinder AWD. I was looking for cheap as possible and nothing extravagant. So continuing on he said he had a different “special finance guy” that wasn’t there that day but he would go over everything with him and get back to me on Friday afternoon. Friday came and I received a very generic email from Wyel, like we hadn’t spent about 1-2 hours together the previous day. I sent a message asking if there was any outcome and was asked to call to go over some options. I replied what number am I calling and who am I speaking to? No response was received until this morning, so naturally I called this morning and spoke to Austin who sounded like he had no clue what was going on or who I was. The Austin I spoke to this morning was not the same personable friendly person, I was abruptly put on hold and transferred to a Roberto when I was supposed to be transferred to Wyel. Roberto stated he was the finance manager and again had no idea what was talked about on Thursday between myself and Wyel regarding financing. So to sum it up… I wasted my time, and gas on false hopes of them being able to help me. I also see that when you are a potential buyer they are friendly but if you’re not going to be able to get approved or make them money, you get pushed to someone else who has no idea what was even spoke about. This was a very horrible experience, I knew what the outcome would be but was told differently to get me there! I’m very very angry I drove an hour away to get the same result as I received locally. Shame on everyone at Pittsfield Nissan for giving false hope to myself and I’m sure others as well. More
We were nervous about looking for a car through a dealership due to some past credit issues but we met with Austin Houghtaling and helped us get into a beautiful pre-owned Rouge! The shop was nice, everyone was so helpful and we walked out of the store with not only a new to us vehicle but included with our purchase was regular oil changes and power train. Wow! PERCY THE GENERAL MANAGER only cares about the money that goes into his pocket. last week me and 4 other sales consultants were missing a total of 15,000 out of our paychecks. and instead of giving us an answer PERCY the general manager, decided to take the day off. so we did too. we then come in today to our jobs being gone, labeled as a resignation even though no one resigned. PERCY FIRED US. he refused to give us unemployment and our last paychecks on the spot. we got fired because we made a stand about them failing to pay us, even though money is always in their pockets. IF YOU EVER DO BUISNESS HERE YOU ARE STUPID. Run as far away from this place as you can. THE ONLY THING THE MANGERS CARE ABOUT IS MONEY AND BRAGGING ABOUT HOW MUCH OF IT THEY HAVE. I WILL BE FILLING A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM FOR WRONGFUL TERMINATION. AGAIN STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. In the past, I wouldn't have shopped at our local Nissan dealership. Since changing owners, I decided to give it a shot, but honestly was prepared to go out of the state to get good service and a good price dealership. We stopped in on a Saturday morning just to see the inventory and have a quick chat with a salesperson. To our surprise, we were greeted with friendly faces and friendly service, shoutout to Jennifer and Deondre! For the first time in my car-buying experience, the General Manager, Percy, sat down with us as well (Great guy and fun to get to know!). There were not a bunch of headaches/dickering back and forth, it was very straightforward. All in all, we left with the vehicle we wanted, and in a very timely manner. We were even able to pick up the vehicle on Monday which was a federal holiday! I would recommend this dealership to my closest friends and family for sure. More
