First, the READ ME BEFORE BUYING A CAR HERE!!!!! I recently bought a car from North County Kia and can not STRESS how horrible this experience was. First, the salesman was not informed about the vehicle and when I asked why the car had been on the lot for so long, he said "Not really sure haha." Next, I wasn't even planning on buying a car that day, unless it was for the right price. The second we sat down to begin discussing price, they immediately asked for all my personal information without explaining what it was for. There was no communication from the salesman or the manager and they claimed this was "routine procedure." I immediately refused to give them anymore information until they negotiated with me. This practice is incredibly inappropriate and is a horrible reflection on the store. Ok so all of that doesn't sound amazing, but it isn't horrible YET. When the sales manager began to negotiate, he would not even give me the time of time. I'm a successful female, with a great paying job and I truly felt because of my gender he thought he could take advantage of me. He refused to sit in the room while we were negotiating and tried to tell me I had never had a loan before, when I had a loan for my BMW a few years back. After all this, we agreed to a price. He then tried to take advantage of me AGAIN by giving me an absurd interest rate (4%). PRO TIP: bring your own loan like I did and they match immediately. Once I said I had a loan for significantly less, he came running back and was willing to match. Do not fall for this xx option deal they try to give you for 5 days. Just bring your own loan. Another PRO TIP: buy insurance on the spot or they will try to charge you ridiculous amounts so you aren't a liability. At this point, I had been at the dealership for almost 3.5 hours just waiting to go into finance. No one is checking in on me. They kept saying 30 minutes, 30 minutes. No one is communicating numbers to me. I had no idea what my monthly payment was, what the taxes and fees were - again all part of their plan to take advantage of me, even though I asked for it many times. So we sit down in finance and I am reviewing the paper work and they decide to just add a random $1400 for this anti-theft system, StarGuard. Not one time throughout this full 4 hour process did they mention this, what it even was, what the cost was. I obviously freaked out at this and could not believe they were trying to take advantage of me AGAIN. They could see I was upset, but their only solution was to either walk away from the deal or buy the car with the StarGuard. All in all, I can not recommend this car dealership LESS and hope other individuals don't have to suffer through what I did. Just buy a luxury car and get the treatment you deserve. If you do decide to take your chances here, make sure the sales manager sits down with you and gives you the necessary attention, bring your own loan, don't fall for the StarGuard trap, and get insurance. Poor communication, difficult to agree on price and then car and paperwork wasn’t ready when we arrived at the dealership. From the time I arrived at the lot things were GREAT! I knew the car I wanted to look at, it was ready for me when I arrived, Christina Munoz was with me on the test drive. Christina answered all my questions, and knew a lot about the car. She stayed with me during the buying process, and made me feel very comfortable, no pressure, just all the information I needed. Moving on to the finance department, which is usually the worst, all the signing and numbers. Troy made the process very efficient, and understandable. I have a great car, which I love!!! but if I ever need another one I will go back to North County Kia. Thanks guys, Pam More

I got a brand new 2019 Kia Forte S and he made things happen. From the moment I spoke with him over the phone to the time I picked up the car, Cam was extremely responsive, very professional and courteous; he also treated me like family. Cam got me an awesome deal which could not be touched by any dealer. I am thankful to experience such great customer service. Michael in Finance was excellent as well. He treated me with the utmost’s respect and knew his stuff. If you are shopping around for a Kia, go talk to Cam. He’s the guy that will make things happen and you won’t be disappointed. We had a car towed in and were charged a $135.00 diagnosis fee. After the diagnosis they told us it would be $1600.00 for the repair. I informed them that I had an extended warranty and that it should be covered. They told me it was not. I then called Weseloh Kia in Carlsbad and they told me it was definitately covered. It was. Be wary of North County KIA they are unethical. Also the repair would have only been $1100.00 at Weseloh and not the outragious $1600.00 that North County tried to get. Fortunately it was covered by my warranty. Greg Meer the service manager was also extremely unprofessional about the situation. More

honest fair review bought a used car last sep. took 4 months, multiple trips to them (they kept lying saying its already done) & then to DMV (while dealing with a newbor bought a used car last sep. took 4 months, multiple trips to them (they kept lying saying its already done) & then to DMV (while dealing with a newborn & even had to take a day off just for this to wait in line at DMV for 4 hours to be told not only the car is not registered to me but not even registered to the dealer) to finally get them to send the registration. while at the DMV I got the dealer complaint form & filed it. too many complaints against a dealer's license & they're gonna have a problem. this is all in addition to the fact they day we went to buy they didnt seem eager to show the car to us & took half an hour to find the keys AND WHILE SIGNING THE PAPERS I NOTICED the the mileage went up by 3k. explanation? o well, it was sold & returned to us but the AD wasnt updated. service department is great. honest fair review More

She wasn't pushy like some of the other car lots I had checked out. Told her what I was looking and found me that PLUS more. And even had my kids safety in mind as if they were her own. Stayed late for me and even helped me set up everything for my drive home. Will definitely be referring my friends and family to her! More
