⭐ 1 Star – Dishonest, Rude, and Refused to Honor Warranty I recently purchased a 2018 Ram 1500 from North Park Toyota along with a Bronze MPP warranty. Within a week of purchase, I discovered a s Warranty I recently purchased a 2018 Ram 1500 from North Park Toyota along with a Bronze MPP warranty. Within a week of purchase, I discovered a serious issue with the exhaust manifold. Instead of standing by the warranty they sold me, the dealership misled me at every step and ultimately cancelled the deal and gave me back my trade-in because they did not want to honor what was promised. Here are the facts: Paul Barrientos (Sales Manager) told me my warranty was not active right away because it was a used car. That is completely false. Tony Ahrenstorff (Service Department) admitted to me that he was aware of the exhaust manifold issue and other problems before the sale. He also told me I had to drive 1,000 miles before the warranty would be active. Later, when confronted, he denied ever saying this. Tania Eubanks (General Manager) was the rudest of them all. She flat out told me my MPP Bronze warranty would not cover an exhaust manifold, even though it clearly should. This dealership knowingly sold me a truck with undisclosed issues, lied about how the warranty works, and then tried to dodge responsibility by cancelling the deal instead of doing the right thing. If you value honesty, integrity, and customer service, avoid North Park Toyota. They will take your money, mislead you, and then refuse to stand behind their word. More

This was the best dealer to go to for the purchase on my new vehicle. The sales consultant was already waiting when we got there. He set the tone for himself and the dealership earning a 5-star rating in e new vehicle. The sales consultant was already waiting when we got there. He set the tone for himself and the dealership earning a 5-star rating in every category - customer service was tops. When he didn't know an answer, he found it for me. He was friendly during our test drives and and knowledgeable about the vehicles. He was an excellent broker between the sales manager and myself as we negotiated the final price. It was a pleasure doing business with North Park Toyota. I highly recommend them for your vehicle needs. More

On May 21st, I visited North Park Toyota to purchase a 2025 GMC 2500 after speaking with Manny Galván over several days to negotiate the purchase terms. Once we agreed on a price, I informed Manny around 2025 GMC 2500 after speaking with Manny Galván over several days to negotiate the purchase terms. Once we agreed on a price, I informed Manny around 7:30 PM that I was heading to the dealership. I removed my belongings from my trade-in vehicle and arrived at the store around 8:20 PM. Manny had assured me earlier that he would begin preparing the truck and paperwork to ensure a quick process. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I didn’t enter the finance office until nearly 10 PM. During the wait, I texted Manny asking for a bottle of water for my son and received no response. In fact, from the time I arrived until I left around 10:45 PM, I never saw Manny again. When we finally got into the finance office, we discovered the numbers were incorrect, requiring all the paperwork to be redone. Once completed, we went to retrieve our new truck, only to find it had no temporary license plate—even though we had been there for over two hours. It was only at this point that Manny informed me the temporary tag would only be valid for 10 days due to the previous dealership still having a plate assigned to the truck. He said he would call me the next day to resolve the issue. Manny handed me one key to the truck, and when I asked about the second key (which he had previously confirmed during negotiations), he said the truck didn’t come with one due to a recall and a key shortage. While I understand recalls happen, I do not appreciate being misled. While waiting for the plate to be made, I started the truck and noticed the fuel level was nearly empty—just 76 miles to empty. I asked if it would be filled, but Manny said he couldn’t do it because all managers had left and he didn’t have access to a credit card. This should have been addressed earlier in the evening when he knew I was on my way and claimed the truck would be ready. My family and I left the dealership exhausted and frustrated after spending several hours dealing with poor communication and delays. Over 10 days have passed with no update from Manny regarding the license plate. My temporary tags are now expired, putting me at risk of being pulled over. I reached out to Manny on June 3rd, and he told me he still had no information because his manager was off. I asked if anyone else could assist—again, no response. Today, I followed up once more, and he simply told me to call the store and ask for Paul. This entire experience has been incredibly disappointing. I’m sharing this in hopes of informing others about the lack of professionalism and follow-through when dealing with Manny Galván. I would strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution when working with him. More
Do Not Purchase Your Next Vehicle from North Park Most customers are excited to post their photo of their new vehicle, but here I am less than 21 days off their lot with our 2022 4Runner being towed and m customers are excited to post their photo of their new vehicle, but here I am less than 21 days off their lot with our 2022 4Runner being towed and my 7 month pregnant wife stranded on the road. We purchased on 5/3/25; brought back for service 5/10/25; overheated 5/21/25. North Park Toyota does not stand behind their vehicles before placing them for sale on their lot. I understand every aspect of As-Is purchases; extended warranty; being in the car business myself. However, less than 30 days off the lot and 11 days from a return service appt to correct issues upon purchase; the service team missed this and won’t take ownership. In short, the drive belt shredded on a 70k mileage vehicle lodging into the coolant hose and causing overheating. The drive belt was not thoroughly inspected by the service team before being sold. Even Tony Ahrenstorff agreed a belt should not fail with this mileage. I should have realized this when the A/C issue that was apparent upon purchase, which is why the vehicle was brought back for service. We are not local and were not able to tow to North Park. I gave Tony Ahrenstorff every chance to respond and review the inspection report from San Marcos Toyota, but was met with no follow up or updates. I then had to make multiple calls to get an update and finally spoke with used sales manager, George, who repeatedly put words in my mouth and that I was told to bring it to North Park. This is not true. He is not a solution oriented manager. Dealerships will always look out for their best interest and not the customer this is even more so true with North Park Toyota. If this had been more than 30 days or if I wasn’t just in their service department on 5/10/25; I might have more understanding. But they brushed me off and basically told me to kick rocks. I highly recommend you find another dealership to purchase your next vehicle. More
