Horrible experience My Sorento has been in NT Kia's possession for 11 days, it was brought into the dealership because the panoramic sunroof exploded while driving. This My Sorento has been in NT Kia's possession for 11 days, it was brought into the dealership because the panoramic sunroof exploded while driving. This was surprising to say the least and we feel fortunate that no one was injured, including my three young children who were in the car at the time. After doing some research I discovered that this is known issue with Kia panoramic sunroofs especially the Sorento. As disturbing as this incident was this is only the beginning of what has been a horrible experience. I have an extended warranty and expected that this would be covered, unfortunately it was not. Kia does not recognize the exploding panoramic sunroof as a manufacturing defect, other companies have voluntarily recalled their vehicles for this same issue (Kia refuses to take responsibility). It took 5 days for me to get an answer on whether this would be covered under warranty, I only found out after several attempts to reach a manager, no attempts were made by NT Kia to contact me. Upon finding out that it would not be covered by Kia, I filed an insurance claim that same day, at which point I expected the to repairs to made. This was last Thursday I gave them the weekend and on Monday after not hearing from Kia I called them, only to find out that work on my vehicle had not even started because they were waiting for a work order from my insurance company (which arrived at NT Kia on the previous Thursday and was not forwarded by NT to their collision shop). I was then ensured that NT was on it and it would be expedited. I then received a call yesterday from the sub-contracted glass installer to inform me that he would not be responsible for any damage to the vehicle in the future as a result of his replacing the sunroof, again I was dumbfounded. So here I am 11 days later, still with out my vehicle, hoping to have my car fixed soon and also hoping that it will be fixed the right way. Throughout this experience I was only contacted by NT twice and those contacts were made after 10 days and countless efforts on my part to resolve the issue. This whole experience has really soured my previously positive experiences with NT and Kia to the point I am considering getting rid of my vehicle. More

They treat people like hot garbage once they take your money and if they have an issue with you, you get passed to another sales associate to deal with. Sold me a Lemon Car on 7/26 and they will not take responsibility for themselves to make the customer happy. They just wont to put that person on the back burner and deal with the situation whenever they want. 0 out of a 0! i have a 150 wedding guests coming to my house and you BEAT! what im going to tell all of them. Absolutely Disgusted! More

We liked both vehicles and asked to run the numbers for the Telluride. Our salesperson Minh was great. But we know the sales person has no control of any financial dealing. If I could give a half star I would. I have never been treated worse when looking to purchase a new vehicle! The Financial manager - I believe his name was Mike - came out and told us there was no way to get us in the Telluride - a $35,000 vehicle for less then $500 a month and wanted about $5,000 - 7,000 down. We had a GMC Acadia with 4 months left on our lease. He treated us like we were white trash poor people. Amazing, how a dealership would allow anything like this to happen. We asked about the current KIA incentives that I saw on-line. He knew absolutely nothing about them. I asked him if he was the financial manager - how does he not know the manufactures deals on the Kia Telluride. Isn't this a KIA dealership!!! He was very rude to my wife and myself. Of course - when we walked out of Northtown Kia - the sales manager never tried to talk to us or see what they can do to get us in a KIA. They didn't even contact us today - this is why we are making this review. After we left Northtown - we went and visited Basil Toyota - and was treated much better. We in turn not only purchased a NEW Toyota Highlander - but we were able to get a loaded XLE Highlander - with a price of $42,067 fully loaded. They also allowed us to take it overnight. After some much negotiating we were able to get our payments below $400 a month with $2500 down. BUYER BEWARE --- I would stay away from Northtown KIA More

Poor attention by staff When buying a car you don’t expect your sales man to walk away from you in the middle of the process to take care of someone who just walked in. I? waited an hour at Nick G’s desk before going up to the front desk and asking for assistance. I? then had to wait another half hour before Brandon from the finance office heard me complaining and came over to help out. I? must also add that Brandon had what appeared to be a “lip” packed. Very unprofessional. I? was not going to come back to northtown for this new car and after this experience I? really wish that I? went to transitowne or West herr. I? should not have been at the dealership for well over 3 hours when Nick knew 2 days prior that I? would be coming in to get a new car. I? was the only customer present at the time purchasing a vehicle. I? now know why other dealerships are beating you in sales, the service and attention to customers is subpar. I? wouldn’t recommend northtown to any potential buyers based on the atmosphere and poor customer service. More

Leased a car Came in under the impression there was a lease deal for a 2017 Kia Soul for $0.00 down and about $180.00 a month, only to find out that that deal wasn Came in under the impression there was a lease deal for a 2017 Kia Soul for $0.00 down and about $180.00 a month, only to find out that that deal wasn't on the desktop website, only the mobile website. So after proving to the salesman that the sale was actually on the website, it was sent to the manager. Turns out there weren't any 2017 Kia Souls available for that offer. I was catered to a little when the manager offered a better deal on the 2018 Kia Soul. Although it wasn't the deal I walked into the dealership hoping for, it wasn't terrible. I ended up putting down a little over $2,000.00 to have the care leased for $219.00 a month. I'm satisfied enough I suppose but not completely since I didn't get the deal I walked into the dealership for. I do not blame the salesman for this. I put blame on the misleading web advertisement and some blame on the manager for not bringing the price closer to what I was at the dealership for. More
