Superficial I walked into this dealership on August 13, 2016 with a good credit score, history and positive outlook on th experienced. But, what I left with was false truths, an overpriced car and a negatively affected credit report. My advice, read all the reviews about a dealership as much as possible, research, and avoid the warning signs. There are some employees that try to uphold a good reputation for the company, but there are others who try to take advantage of what they believe you don't know. More
Service Department Karl is cheater I bought brand new KIA SORENTO 2015 Black from this dealer on Sept 2014. I bought it from there coz in sales I have my known friends IAN and Joe who c I bought brand new KIA SORENTO 2015 Black from this dealer on Sept 2014. I bought it from there coz in sales I have my known friends IAN and Joe who came there from TENAFLY KIA. 1 time I was at Jones beach and I called service dept. for new brake pads. 1 lady picked up the phone and told me yes they have it and u can come now.Yes now u will think why I didn't called PARTS. But the lady who picked up my phone she talks to some guy when I was put on hold and I think she was talking to a parts guy and said ok U can come and get it. I was happy and drove very fast all the way from Jones Beach to NUTLEY.When I got there as it was saturday. When I got there there were almost no one. Some how met Karl xxxxxxx. He talks to a guy supposed to be parts guy and said he only have brake pads for front wheels. Then I became really pissed!!! I come all the way from Jones Beach driving about 2 hours straight and I got to hear that. I was not asked how long i take to get to Nutley. And Also not informed clearly about the parts whether they have it or not. I was so disappointed. Next Issues is... I recently went to service there to get my steering noise fixed. I clearly mention him the noise on steering and let me know if I have to pay for it. and I also told him if u fix the noise problem on steering. Pls tell me its under warranty or not. But he told me if its only a noise from the steering,then it can be covered.But rather than that he didn't mention any payment that I have to pay. And after half an hour the Karl service guy didn't fixed it but handed me a bill of more than $ 95.00 for only to check the problems.I have my bumper guard on front since after I bought the car. And the reason for steering noise is due to the bumper guard which is 100% not true.If it is because of bumper guard then I heard the noise recently on my steerings. The noises never came since long time after I have bumper attached to the car. Screwed me big time but I told the Karl that Im coming back for this issues($ 95) for charging me without any consent. That time Mr. Jim the CEO was not there. I think he was on vacation. So I told my friends in sales dept. about it and they were very sorry for it. The funniest thing is Karl said he don't care and have no relation to sales dept. How come he said like that? Since they work under the same roof,there should always have connection from the sales to service department and vice versa. If the sales people does their job well and customers are happy then they definitely come their for service.Customer will think they will be informed clearly,honestly and properly treat well in the service. So I urged all the people around and far to be really careful about NUTLEY KIA. I have been screwed by that guy BIG Time. More

Never again Like everyone else my wife and I went to this dealership for an affordable car. We agreed to on a certified pre-owned car. It was fine for a month and that is when the problems started happening. Every month one turn signal was go out. Carl in service who give bogus excuses to why this happening. All they are interested is charging and blaming on wear and tear but after having a previous care for 15 years with never a lightbulb issue the reasoning is totally bogus. Never again I come here again. More
HEADLINER HORROR STORY As I had been to this dealership before and bought my used car there I decided to have them fix my broken power window motor. I was called to inform me that the part had to be ordered and would take a few days so I went to pick up the car after having left a $200. deposit. To my astonishment there was a hole burned through headliner and the adjacent visor. On reporting this I got to meet the owner who was nothing short of accusatory and confrontational. He said the burn marks couldn't have occurred at the dealership. He could have turned this over to his insurance but proceeded to tell me that I hadn't been there since 2013 and wanted facts to prove I was a loyal customer. He shoved the part order at me and told me I couldn't get a refund since I had signed the order. A woman in the office suggested that sunlight possibly went through my sunglasses under the visor and caused the damage. I had planned on trading in the car and leasing a new car there. I am always looking to give the locals my business but after this encounter I don't know.. Luckily I got the deposit back and I'll let my auto insurance deal with this ungrateful ogre. More
Custumer Service I bought my car year and Half Sportage EX 4WD, I changed the oil every 3k miles but the car started to rust too fast the muffler is like 5 years old c I bought my car year and Half Sportage EX 4WD, I changed the oil every 3k miles but the car started to rust too fast the muffler is like 5 years old car, the support of the engine is rust the passenger seat is making noise and the brake rotors are broken( when you press the breaks the car produce excessive vibration). The car was bought in February 2013, I thinking the quality of this cars are not really good. When I went to the dealer the customer service representative treat me as a crazy He told me I invent the problems No friendly guy. He never pass the car to a technician and he says I have the experience and you car have no problems and the warranty no cover rotors and rust. This thanks Good the car is a lease, And I will return it and when my lease finish and I will try different brand. I hope this review help you to take a purchase decision. NO KIA!!! This company doesn't know How treat your clients. Nutley Kia the worse dealer, advice try other dealer. More
Worst place to be,no trust on them,reap costumers off.couldn't be done for alignment in 3 hours,make me pay for new parts,try to overcharge me,the second appointment after agred with the first techni off.couldn't be done for alignment in 3 hours,make me pay for new parts,try to overcharge me,the second appointment after agred with the first technical for 1 more hour of work to be done ,the costumer service try to convince me that the work needed is 3 hours.when confronted them with what the agreement I had made they try to justify that the deed a mistake.the day of the work done they try again to charge the amount of the alignment and the parts replaced, this is not what you call a service the experience was that they stole my money.terrible never again. Buying experience went pretty well. They had the exact model with option package I wanted and since I did not live that close I discussed the price over the phone. I came in and they honored it and let chuck take over the sale. I had a few snags with my sales man about a small check and my plates being picked up but it worked out ok. While going to pick up my check (that was not ready) and my plates I had a concern about the AM radio. I was bothered that the check was not ready and I was already having problems with the car. They sent me to service and after an hour hour they parked my car in a spot where 1 am station came in. Then told me that it was area and that was as good as it would get. I brought it to another dealer they changed a faulty part and now the radio works as it should. I would not likely go back to this dealer for service or use the same salesman again. More
