As a college student on a tight budget, every dollar counts. So, when I was charged an astonishing $18,000 for a car that I later discovered was worth less than half that amount, I was left not just heartbroken but also buried under a debt mountain. This situation forced me to purchase another vehicle, further straining my finances, because the initial car was constantly failing. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that my trust in Open Road Chevrolet wasn't incidental. My single mother and grandmother had also placed their trust in them, only to be let down. Both have since vowed never to return or recommend them to anyone. It's disheartening to realize that this dealership seems to target individuals who are less knowledgeable about cars, preying on our lack of experience to push deals that are far from fair. Adding insult to injury, when I took my plight to a new dealer in hopes of finding a solution, they were shocked at the price I had paid. They confirmed my worst fears – I had been significantly overcharged for a car that was "not worth anywhere near" the amount I was charged. This new dealer's honesty was a small solace in an otherwise disheartening ordeal. Open Road Chevrolet's approach to business is deeply troubling. They present a friendly facade, with smiles and handshakes, but their actions tell a different story. They exploit the vulnerabilities of customers like me, who simply sought a reliable vehicle to support my education and daily life. It's a lesson learned the hardest way possible, but I hope by sharing my story, I can help prevent others from falling into a similar trap. More

Got very defensive and dry about it with his response saying well you don't know that it will take about 20/30 minutes to check that, then he hand me a document to sign and good thing I noticed a 107.50 charge to check the noise but he never told me, just said initial here and there.Very bad and unprofessional approach to the matter. I told him to forget it and left to another dealer that can reasonably and honestly can work better with their customers. More

I had a great experience with Robert Braschi. He was easy going, a tiny bit pushy as expected of salespeople. I ended up having an issue but we ended up working it out. He was easy going, a tiny bit pushy as expected of salespeople. I ended up having an issue but we ended up working it out. More
Purchased a pre owned suv from this dealership about 9 months ago I already traded in the vehicle nothing but problems. In the 9 months I owned this vehicle I needed new breaks and rotors front and back and new thermostat and temp sensor and tires and the last straw was an electrical issue. Not a very reliable dealership. And we all know they won’t respond to this review because they only respond to reviews with 5 stars. Don’t purchase a used car from this dealership can’t stand behind there shady practices. And I know they won’t respond again since it’s not a positive review. More
This place has a very shoddy operation. Soon as you mention Carfax the salesman conversation changes. I called to inquire about a vehicle earlier today and the salesman proceeded to tell me about how many calls he's had on the vehicle today and how much work they had done to the vehicle. I said I understood at which time I asked if he would mind sharing the Carfax with me on the vehicle, this young man went on trying to explain to me about tires and fresh fluids ECT,but ignored my question about the Carfax altogether which was extremely annoying.i asked about the accidental history in which I was mostly interested in being as though I own a business myself and I don't want to waste (12) hours of my day driving up to NJ to purchase a vehicle that isn't what they claimed it to be, transparency goes a long way when dealing with the public, I'm leaving this review so that other's will read this review and hopefully it will help this establishment correct this issue. A great experience so far. Bought my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe just about a month ago. Saw the car online overnight on CarGurus. By time I reached my office I got a call from Mary Bought my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe just about a month ago. Saw the car online overnight on CarGurus. By time I reached my office I got a call from Mary. Made an appointment for the same day. Got there and she pointed me to Vini the salesperson. Test drive two vehicles and decided on the Santa Fe. Before I drove the Santa Fe I noticed that all four routers were not in good condition, driving it proved my point. Once I decided on the vehicle, Vini and his team got everything done from credit check to financing and me having the keys in my hand in less than three hours. Steve the manager assured me that they would take care of the routers once Jason the service/maintenance manager gave me an appointment. Went back the following week and they did what they had to do. Because I was not able to wait, John the shuttle driver took me to my office twenty minutes away. We arranged for him to pick me up at 3pm, and was he on time, yes, he came exactly 3:00. Finally, the muffler on the car started to make a loud sound, but only when you revved it. This is not something that a dealer would normally accept as there responsibility, however, after speaking with Steve the manager,he told me to go to Meineke and let them assess it and give him the cost. I did just that. Once I sent it to Steve,he gave me the go ahead to have them replace it and he will reimburse me within a week. I am now awaiting my check. It has been an overall great experience so far. More
