There was none of the usual (lousy) back and forth, playing games; everything was straightforward with no surprises, no hidden fees, no bait and switch like I've seen at other dealers. I greatly value that. I started on their website looking at one particular vehicle and David answered on chat when I indicated an interest. Before I got too invested he volunteered that there was minor damage on the vehicle that didn't show on pictures. Other dealers would have not said anything and let me come in (a decent drive away) to try to sell me on something else, but David didn't do that bait and switch so I really appreciated that. He had other similar vehicles in stock so I decided to come on in anyways. When I arrived, the vehicle was not only already ready to go, they had put it through their detailing process right before I arrived. David encouraged me to take a longer test drive, and I was able to get a feel for the vehicle in a low pressure situation. He drove with me on my request and was very patient in answering my questions about the car and the dealership. We worked together to find a good deal that benefited both of us and I walked away very happy; I hope David and Ourisman did too. I really appreciate that when we finally started talking numbers, there wasn't that constant back and forth "let me bring it to my manager" dance. It was a very fast turnaround on price negotiation and I'm glad we didn't have any wasted time. Finalizing the deal went smoothly without problems. We've had the car now for a week and it's been great. As I said it's been one of the best buying experiences I've had. A+, highly recommend, would go again. Deceptive practices: 1) Car switch: Vehicles are stored in a garage below the dealership so customers cannot see what is going. Staff switched cars on us at the last minute. We learned of the switch when signing documents with finance, and after, under Ourisman’s direction we had arranged for proof of insurance with the first car’s VIN number. Changing the VIN number the next day was tedious and time consuming. 2) Delivery checkout form: We were asked to validate delivery by sending back codes to the dealer. We were not informed that the sales rep had completed a delivery form that misrepresented the dirty condition of the vehicle on delivery. No respect for customer: 1) Ourisman sales rep did not honor the time of our scheduled appointment 2) We waited over four hours to complete the transaction, with poor hand-offs between staff 3) We informed the sales manager of our issues, but he ignored our complaints.
