Deceptive Service Practices and Horrible Customer Service To preface this, it's not the first time I’ve had my car serviced at Palmer Dodge. I have had good experiences until the most recent. In addition, while other service associates were nice, my issue is with my encounter with Winston. I dropped my car off on Saturday, July 8th to address critical recalls on my vehicle. When asked if I had any other concerns, I replied: “My windshield washer doesn’t hold in fluid and my brakes vibrate when engaged above 45 mph”. He said he would check them out. I got a call from Winston at 3:09 pm the same day stating that the problem with the windshield washer was that I needed replacement hoses, about $95, and they checked the brakes and you need new pads. He stated that the rotors and everything else was fine, but the pads had about .33 inches left on them and they recommend replacement pads on all four wheels, about $500. I said that that was pricey, so I authorized the replacement of the hoses, but said I will call him back on the brakes. Since it was the weekend he said to call him back before 5 pm or on Monday morning. Today (Monday morning) I called the service center at spoke to Winston at 7:41 am to authorize the replacement of the pads and asked for an oil change. I also asked if they had any specials I could take advantage of that could give me a break on price. He said no, but I’ll look into taking 10% off and I will call you once we are done. I then looked online to find a coupon for replacement brake pads for $190 (expires 7/31). I called back to the service department at 11:13 am, spoke to a woman and asked if they would honor the coupon I found. She said yes and to bring it in when I picked up the car. I got the call at 2:57 pm to pick up the car. I arrive at the shop, waited for Winston to finish his call and presented the coupon. First, he said that he already provided 10% off and I couldn’t use two discounts. So I asked, which one was the better deal. Instead of calculating the differences, he read the coupon and found the statement that said “refacing/machining extra”. Then explains to me that my rotors needed to be resurfaced. I told him that is not what he explained on Saturday, and that while he (as the professional) may know that the replacement of pads should automatically include rotor resurfacing, that is NOT what he told me on the phone. “Well if that is what you heard”. No, that is what you told me. I suggested that he should be more clear on what is needed with each service. He simply stared at me as the rest of the people behind the counter did. They DID not honor the coupon. They didn’t even give me the oil change I requested. What I find more disappointing is the lack of customer service. No one said “Sorry for the misunderstanding”, not even a thank you for bringing your car in for service. Interesting enough, I have two coupons printed for the same $190 price and the second one says that resurfacing rotors/drums are included. Deceptive practices, and poor, poor customer service. I feel cheated. I will never return to this service center and I will be sure to warn everyone about Winston. More

Great Service Neil in the service department is GREAT!!!!! Made my experience with my JEEP a great one... Had a issue with the check engine light and truck cut off on me while driving. Neil fixed the issu within a hour after I was told it may be the next day before they could get to it. I was 9th and line as they opened on a Saturday morning after telling my story to the service agents they moved my car to the front of the line apologized for landmarks negligence replaced my battery and had me on my way in about an hour and a half I love this service department have always been treated great every time I come and will continue to do so. Air bag replacement, had an appointment, NO PARTS!! I do NOT recommend this dealership for service, EVERY TIME we go there we have an ISSUE!!! We had an appointment to have the DRIVER side airbag replaced on our Chrysler 300. Got there for the appointment at 9am this morning and they said they DIDN'T have the PARTS! Why make the appointment if you DON'T have the parts, and if they didn't come in then CALL YOUR CUSTOMER and say you NEED TO RESCHEDULE the appointment, as the parts are NOT HERE YET! They then proceeded to say they will fix the passenger side air bag they we were NOT aware HAD A PROBLEM! The sheer lack of professionalism at this dealership is really amazing to me. I will NEVER go back there after this problem is resolved!!! More

You don't know how long your car will be in the shop, how much it will cost, and will not be offered a rental or loaner car. The staff here will most likely refer to you as the "annoying customer" because you have to contact them numerous times to figure out what the heck is going on. I would not bring my vehicle here for service. They are extremely quick to get your money but after that you are screwed! More

Poor poor service I talk to the service department guy about my car and the problem I was having with it. He told me it would take at least 3 day to fix. Because they have to take part out and send it of to be fixed. So I dropped car off on th 20th. Called to pic up car on the 26th. Car wasn't ready. Go pick it and they tell me I have to leave car so they can take part out to send off. That's why I left it there for a week. The only thing they done was diagnostic test. Which it didn't need because it all ready been done. And they didn't put my center console back together. A left oil on steering wheel which gotten on my pants. Poor service . More

Getting work done on your vehicle is usually stressful and inconvenient This time was different. This was my first time at Palmer dodge and I found the experience to be pretty breezy. I purchased this truck three months ago. This visit was for service, 1,000 mile check and oil and filter change. They were fast friendly and professional.
