I couldn't be happier I had the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) retrofitted on my 2015 Boxster S. The installation is quite involved and my research revealed the cost could ran I had the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) retrofitted on my 2015 Boxster S. The installation is quite involved and my research revealed the cost could range from $900 to $2,000. I spoke with Brett back in February and he quoted $1,450 - PCA discount for the job. While the price is not quite the lowest in the spectrum, I thought it was still reasonable. I felt more comfortable to stick with the dealer whom I bought the car from instead of bargaining with someone else for just a few hundred bucks. I read on the Porsche forums some horror stories about the PSE retrofitting where the dealer had demanded much higher price than quote upon completion of the job because the work was more involved than what they had anticipated. I spoke with the shop foreman at Paul Miller Porsche to make sure the quoted price covered the entire scope of the retrofitting and he assured me it was. When I became ready, I contacted Brett again and asked him if he would still honor the quote. He told me he would at once and I made an appointment with a loaner. I was told to expect to leave the car with them for 2 days. On the second day, Brett called and said they needed to keep the car one more day because they had to order clips to secure the vacuum lines from Porsche as the retrofitting kit that I had provided was missing some of those. I was pleased to hear this. I thought they could easily substitute the clips by zip ties or something without even telling me but elected to stick with the OEM part. I thought this was an indication that they were doing everything else strictly by the book. When I went to pick the car up, there was no surprise with the bill. Actually, it was slightly lower than quoted! Brett was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. He was always polite and very accommodating. The whole experience was great and I was happy that I chose Paul Miller Porsche for the job. The Sport Exhaust? It is a blast!! More
