Really bad customer service. Went to buy a 2021 F350 Platinum. They let me walk out with $ with 87k that was wiling to pay cash. They are very fool and have no clue about business negotiations. I ended getting the same truck for $10k lees and 12k less in miles from another dealer. Thank Phil Long for being so fool. More
I have never expressed any for of interest in this dealership. They continually call and harass me regardless. Terrible order experience. Ford advertised that 2023 F-150 orders opened at the end of July. Phil Long Motor City told me the Ford website was inaccurate and that order banks w Ford advertised that 2023 F-150 orders opened at the end of July. Phil Long Motor City told me the Ford website was inaccurate and that order banks weren't going to be open later in the fall. I went back in August and September and was told the same thing. Finally, in October, after the into 2.9% incentive window had ended, they told me I could place an order. I configured my truck, waited over a week for their "order specialist to return to work, and was hoping to get the new Rattler package but when they finally tried to submit the order the system kicked back an error saying the package was no longer available. I contacted a dealer in Denver and they confirmed the order banks had been open since the end of July and Ford had reached production capacity on the Rattler package and that I would have to wait another year to order one if that's what I wanted. Leah Jenkins and JB Burrows at Phil Long Motor City do not understand the order process and gave me bad information even after I showed them what was advertised by Ford on their website. They cost me the opportunity to lock in the 2.9% incentive rate and the opportunity to order the truck I wanted. They also told me that price protection was not possible which the other dealership confirmed is not true. I bought a truck here 2 years ago and had an equally terrible experience with the finance guy. Do not believe anything these people tell you and don't do business here!! More

UPDATE: It has now been nearly three weeks and still no payment. It appears I can't be cut a check unless they have a title in hand. Astoundingly unprofessional from the start. I had an appointment, with an email confirmation, and when I arrived they had no record of it and weren't ready for me. I sold Phil Long my vehicle on a Saturday, didn't leave with a check as accounting was closed, so I was told I would have one Monday-Wednesday at the latest. What they failed to say, was that they won't cut a check on a vehicle with a lien until they receive the title. I have sold vehicles with a lien to dealers before and have always left with a check in hand, one earlier this year, and same for a buddy that sold his with a lien. It's now been almost two weeks with next to zero communication and no check (they've had the vehicle in their possession this whole time). Nothing but empty promises that "we're doing everything we can to expedite this process." Upon questioning why I couldn't be cut a check I was given nothing but half-assed shady dealership excuses. If I had traded my vehicle instead of selling it I could have left with the new vehicle before they received the title to my original vehicle. If I had purchased a vehicle I seriously doubt I could taken the vehicle home and given them an empty promise and an IOU that I'd pay them for the vehicle eventually. Overall an absolutely horrendous experience that is, unfortunately, still ongoing. Take your business somewhere with competent employees that are at the very least honest and upfront about the transaction process. It's abhorrent that the bar has been set so low for dealerships, and Phil Long still can't reach it. My Vehicle is now on their front line, and on their website for sale, all before I have a check for it. It seems they can't cut a check without a title, but they can sell it without a title. More
