He quoted a price and took me through the tax, fees, tags, etc. When I asked about an extended warranty he had Raymond call me with specifics on the warrantees. We finalized a price on the phone and, when I got there, we had an excellent experience. No Surprises! Everything went the way Joey and Ray said it would be. As Ray went through the optional services, my son chose to get the etchings and the GAP as well as the extended warranty. Great experience. These guys were professional, courteous, respectful and extremely interested in making our experience there a great one. I checked out three other dealers and we decided to take the hour drive up to Fredericksburg because they beat the price of everyone else. I would recommend these guys and the Pohanka Honda dealership to anyone interested in buying a car. More

After having my Honda Accord for 11 years I thought it was time to upgrade and get a vehicle with all of the bells and whistles. We arrived at Pohanka and Bill graciously introduced himself. What I like about Bill, besides the fact the he is a Philly Phanatic, is that he listens to what you want and applies absolutely no pressure. Bill wanted me to get the car I wanted not one he wanted to sell me. I explained to him about a not so wonderful experience I had had in the past with the Old Pohanka dealership and Bill was determined that he would change my mind about the car buying experience and the new Pohanka. He succeeded admirably! Not only is the new dealership a beautiful place put everyone is extremely customer service orientated. Bill listened to me and helped me get just exactly what I wanted. Carol was very helpful and knowledgeable about the warranty packages and Anthony, another sales associate, was also very knowledgeable about features of the car and offered advice on extras. Overall I must say this was a very pleasant experience and I feel the I got a great deal on what Bill called my fantasy car. Thanks to Bill and his team. We made the trip up from Richmond the next day to take a final test drive and purchase a new 2010 Civic LX. The Pohanka vehicle USAA price was substantially better than even the USAA pricing from the other two local program dealers and a far better deal than we would normally have achieved. Kent Smith was very helpful in helping us make the final selection of vehicle after test driving both LX and LX-S models. This was by far the easiest, least stressful and best car buying experience that I have ever had. All members of the Pohanka staff that we encountered from the time we arrived to the time we left were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely work with Pohanka Honda again the next time I am in the market for a new car. More
Inquired about a Honda Civic sedan on USAA. Was provided a price and selected the Pohanka dealership as my certified dealer. Kevin worked with me on the color of the vehicle and ensured the vehicle I had selected was available prior to my 3 hour drive to Fredericksburg. My experience was first class from the time I walked through the dealership's doors. Kevin was professinal, friendly and very candid in response to my questions. I received better pricing than I expected by a few hundred dollars. Kevin walked me through some of the paperwork then turned me over to BJ to finalize the details. I wasn't too keen on the extras (ie extended warranty, etc), but BJ was very accommodating. I had a price in my mind of where I wanted to stay as far as monthly payments. BJ worked with some figures then was able to provide me an extended warranty within the price range I was planning for. These guys are great! Pohanka responded quickly to our request for the USAA price on a new Honda Fit. Their price was the best of three responses. Everyone at Pohanka was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The Honda dealers in Richmond, VA can't touch this feeling. With employees like Davona I know a lot of people will enjoy the experience that I had. She called and checked on me to see how the vehicle was doing and just to say hi. This was experience was so great I have been telling all of the folks I know about my experience with Pohanka Honda. I'm sure they will come and visit when they are looking for a vehicle. More
After a 2-hour drive, we were lost, tired, hungry, carless, and about 45 minutes late for the appointment. He then accepted our change in CR-V color preference, had the other vehicle prepared, and (in between sea stories) described the vehicle to us from the back seat during a test drive. As I had talked to Bill and to Sales Manager Chris Conroy the previous day, and had been assured that the driveaway price would be the USAA buying service price plus only 6% Maryland tax, $208 for tags and title, and $399 for documentation/dealer fees, I was anxious to see if the written figure was the same as I had computed. Well, it wasn't--it was $20 less! We then met with Kingley, the Business Manager, to sign all the papers. He talked us into financing about three-quarters of the cost at 1.9% for 36 months instead of writing a check for the full amount, and trid valiantly to sell us an extended warranty/service plan, but couldn't (we have a long-standing personal rule about never buying another extended warranty). Meanwhile, Bill turned in our Enterprise rent-a-car, and had our new vehicle detailed and ready to go. He then called USAA for me so that I could adjust our insurance coverage, and even fed me the Pohanka fax number at the right time so that I could get the proof of insurance faxed. Having taken care of all our other poblems, Bill then gave us directions to theBonefish Grille, where, after a glass of wine and softshell crab stuffed with lump backfin, we deided it was a great day. As is obious from the above, we had an excellent experience overall. Bill Hamilton is personable, very kowledgeable, zeroes in on what is important to the customer...and tells a great sea story!
