Our great experience at Pohanka was largely due to our sales consultant, May Levine. After our initial input on the USAA website, Ms. Levine contacted us promptly. We determined that the exact model we wanted was not in stock, and we had to wait a couple of weeks, but that was no problem. Ms Levine kept us regularly updated on the expected arrival date of our new Fit. When it came in, and we showed up at Pohanka, she proved to be personable, knowledgeable, and professional. She helped us feel relaxed and confident. She ensured we were aware of all the features of our car, answered all our questions, then accompanied us for a test drive. Of the three Honda dealerships that we went to, Kent Smith of Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg was by far the best salesman that we worked with. Kent showed us the vehicle from front to rear, engine compartment, trunk, and the interior in detail and explained all the functions and new features on the vehicle. No other car salesman did this. Kent was also honest from the very beginning. The price he gave us, which was the lowest offer that we received, was the price that we paid. Kent actually tried to talk my wife out of an option, the remote start, that she wanted. Who ever heard of a car salesman that did that? I was also particularily impressed how they could issue permanent plates and registrations right there and then, rather than deal with the hassle of temporary tags. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others when shopping for a new vehicle. Even though it is a little out of the way for people in the DC suburbs it is well worth the trip. More

My experience with their sales and service staff has been nothing less than outstanding. In particular, I’ve been fortunate to have my vintage (1985) Civic Wagon serviced for all of its needs. There’s something to be said for a dealership when their cross section of mechanics can service a broad range of requirements for both vintage and new vehicles alike. Pohanka Honda has always taken the extra step for my cars service needs, especially when difficult-to-find vintage parts have been ordered. My newer Accords (1998 and 2005) were purchased, and have continuously been serviced by Pohanka Honda. Honda’s reputation is second to known when it comes to customer service, durability, and reliability. Nonetheless, Honda vehicles require service and maintenance, and Pohanka Honda has proven to me that they’re the best in central Virginia for both sales and service.
