WORST SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE This dealership is filled with BS. NEVER go to TONY the sales manager for a car. They give you inaccurate info with false accusations of the car and e This dealership is filled with BS. NEVER go to TONY the sales manager for a car. They give you inaccurate info with false accusations of the car and empty promises for warranties that can’t even exist, to just get you to sign the car. As soon as something comes up like a repair and they see that the warranty papers that were signed were a mistake, not only they will not pay the consequences, they will take the car you already signed and love away because they can’t find a way to cancel the warranty. Even the general manager STEVE brings on other excuses to just cancel the entire deal because they didn’t think when they were giving empty promises for a non-existent warranty. They make the decisions for you and tell you that they are taking your car without you having a say in it. I even had my personal belongings in the car, and they didn’t notify me of it, so I had to call myself. WORST CUSTOMER AND FOLLOW-UP SERVICE IN DEALRSHIPS EVER. They take years to call you back. I bought the car, was the owner for 3 weeks, had the car for 5 days, then it went to the shop to get fixed for a problem they said it would take 3 days, it took them 2 weeks to just keep giving me the run around. WORST SERVICE. And I had to waste my time driving 1-2 hours to go to such a dealership. There’s a 2010 RED VOLKSWAGEN GTI that has to have a first hand $1600 repair for oil leakage and so many problems with the interior ceiling. They are gonna tell you that it has passed 150 maryland inspection, but that doesn’t mean anything. More

I grew up in car dealerships in N.C. and unlike most dealerships in Northern Virginia where it is all about the purchase. We came back after buying a 2015 Odyssey based on selling price and service of this vehicle. Until I move back to N.C. Pohanka is my dealership of choice and Hillary is my salesperson. More
FRED FRY IS A COMPLETE JOKE First things first, this is NOT an “old co-worker” or fake review!! I’ve purchased my 2018 Accord from Pohanka Honda in February, I didn’t have an iss First things first, this is NOT an “old co-worker” or fake review!! I’ve purchased my 2018 Accord from Pohanka Honda in February, I didn’t have an issue with the initial purchase however the car came with no maintenance plan (My Ford Fusion I owned prior came with 2 years free maintenance) but the first oil change was free at 5000 miles, I’m currently at 4000 miles after a little over 6 months (I don’t drive the car often due to working downtown DC. Anywho I take the vehicle to Pohanka to get my first oil change and everything seems good since I took my 2014 Accord for service. However this time I’m being checked in with the service writer that does an extensive walk around of the vehicle and takes several pictures of the vehicle including the rims as if it was being rented to me from Enterprise Rental, keep in mind that the images taken was visible when I signed off on the work to be done via the tablet!! I go and sit in the service lounge for about an hour or two; I was told the vehicle was done and ready. I get to the car and it’s still dirty and I noticed no washer fluid was put in the reservoir, which a wash and all fluids topped off is included in the “oil change” which now I’m not sure if this was done or not! After I get washer fluid and a wash I then proceed to go home with the car still being dirty, I took it to get a real car wash the next day and as I’m shining the tires I see curb like scuff marks on the rims!! No big deal, I proceed to contact the service department to see if I can obtain the pictures that they took and the service employee stated YES they can be obtained however only by the service manager Fred Fry, so she transfers me to his voicemail which he doesn’t return calls or messages. So I decide to take a trip up to the dealership and he magically can’t retrieve the pictures from the device that they used when my car was being serviced and stating they only save the info for 3 days. Working 6+ years in the Government Information Technology Field, I know that such documentation/pictures/information of any sort just don’t get deleted, I gets backed up and or saved. So he proceeded to walk around the vehicle and says that damage couldn’t have been done by the dealership as the vehicle are “backed into the bays” when being serviced. Me working at a car dealership when I was younger know that the vehicles are pulled into the bays with the front of the car facing the tools and diagnostic systems. So lie after lie I hear from this service “manager” just pissed me off even more. Mr. Pohanka needs to get himself a new Service Manager to manage the service department correctly because Mr. Fred Fry isn’t cutting it by a long shot!! I will take my vehicle to Brown’s Honda, Ourisman Honda, Landmark Honda etc. anybody but Pohanka!! FRED FRY IS A COMPLETE JOKE More

Go elsewhere for service Took my 2016 top of the line pilot in for service. I bought the car here. It needed a roof molding replaced because it blew off in the wind. Advisor said it was not covered by the warranty because I had 38,000 miles, I was 2,000 miles over, but he would order the part. I called 7 days later to check the status and the part had never been ordered. Horrible horrible service. More
