As a Porsche Premier Dealer, we always strive to provide excellent customer service experience. This client purchased an extended service agreement for his Porsche and 13 days later filed a claim for a major repair in excess of $40,000. We explained to the client that such a substantial claim will obviously raise red flags and that it is ultimately up to the warranty company to investigate any potential preexisting conditions the vehicle may have had and then determine the legitimacy of the claim. Should the warranty company, after performing their due diligence, decide that it is a legitimate claim we will gladly help to facilitate the necessary repairs. If for some reason the warranty company denies the claim, Porsche of Melbourne will promptly refund the client for the full amount he paid for the extended warranty.

Once again total lies, I have just received a letter from DEPARTMENT OF FINANCIAL SERVICES Division of Consumer Services that contacted the warranty company and they said that dealer could not sell this warranty they asked dealer for the cars inspection which was never done in my car, I just faxed a copy of the letter To The general sales manager Ed Sears that for over 4 weeks lied to me regarding this matter, all the 3 employees that are involved are covering up for each other at this time i'm not sure if the General manager Shay Rowe is aware of the problem but soon attorney will going to send a direct mail to him regarding this matter, They charged me for the warranty and they need to take care of it, they can not claim a pre existing condition they had the chance to tell me that they need to inspect the car before selling the warranty they didnt. here is a copy of the letter and you can also view on Instagram @ KX928 , i will be uploading all the info on facebook and instagram. they should shortly recive a call from Florida Attorney General office that i filed a complain, My car is at the porsche dealer in west palm beach for over 2 moths they never even bother to contact them they need to take car of this matter ASAP. January 26, 2022 Re: Service Request Number: 1-1070951472 Company Name: Safe-Guard Warranty Corporation (Safe Guard) Dear Mr. Petrosyans: We have received a response from your insurance company in regard to the request for service you filed. Safe Guard indicates on December 16, 2021, a service technician from Porsche West Palm Beach (repair facility) contacted the company seeking to initiate a claim under the VSC Agreement. Safe Guard states a copy of the Used Car Inspection (UCI), an inspection required to be performed on used vehicles prior to the sale of a VSC Agreement, was requested from the dealer to ensure the damage currently being reported was not related to a pre-existing issue. According to Safe Guard, the dealer advised that no UCI had been performed. Safe Guard states it obtained an AutoCheck Report on the vehicle which revealed the vehicle had not been purchased in November 2021 but had been purchased on March 6, 2018. Based on the purchase history, Safe Guard states the vehicle was ineligible to purchase the VSC Agreement on November 2021. According to Safe Guard, the eligibility requirements do allow participating dealers to sell the VSC Agreement after the sale/purchase of the vehicle, however, at least 1 day/ 1 mile (this wording can be found on page two of the VSC Agreement) of the manufacturer’s 4 year / 50,000 mile manufacturer’s warranty must remain on the covered vehicle at the time of purchase in order to qualify for coverage under the VSC Agreement. Safe Guard indicates the vehicle is a 2016 model which means the manufacturer’s warranty would have expired at the latest 4 years later in 2020. According to Safe Guard, the manufacturer’s warranty had expired on November 26, 2021 when the VSC Agreement was purchased making the vehicle ineligible for coverage under the VSC Agreement. The claim was denied due to ineligibility. As per Safe Guard, eligibility requirements were relayed to the dealer when the dealer agreed to offer the VSC Agreement for sale. According to Safe Guard, the dealer failed to adhere to the requirements in offering the VSC Agreement to you and thus, according to Safe Guard, the dealer is responsible for the refund of your purchase price and/or your claim. Safe Guard advises you should contact your dealer directly regarding this matter. As an administrative agency, the Department does not have the jurisdiction to adjudicate disputes of fact or law.
