Here's an updated version reflecting that around 7 months have now passed since the initial issues with the vehicle purchased from Port City Nissan: It has been a grueling seven months since I first began have now passed since the initial issues with the vehicle purchased from Port City Nissan: It has been a grueling seven months since I first began my nightmarish ordeal with Port City Nissan, and the overwhelming sense of frustration and regret I feel toward this dealership has only intensified. What should have been a routine vehicle purchase has spiraled into a never-ending cycle of disrespect, unprofessionalism, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. In the span of just seven months, I have been forced to endure a staggering five separate repair incidents on the vehicle I purchased from Port City Nissan. This alarming number of issues in such a short timeframe is a clear indicator that I was sold a lemon, yet the dealership has shown a shocking lack of accountability throughout this entire ordeal. From the very beginning, just 20 days after driving the car off the lot, Port City Nissan demonstrated their unethical business practices by refusing to address my concerns unless I removed an honest review detailing my experience. This strong-arming tactic was a glaring red flag that should have prompted me to sever ties with the dealership immediately. Now, seven months later, I am still grappling with the consequences of a failed low fuel pressure pump, an issue that the dealership's own initial diagnosis identified as a low fuel pressure concern. Despite overwhelming evidence linking the current pump failure to their original findings, Port City Nissan has brazenly concluded that the issues are unrelated, displaying a blatant disregard for logic and customer satisfaction. Throughout this entire ordeal, I have been met with nothing but laughter, condescension, and a complete unwillingness to engage in constructive dialogue from the service manager, Patrick. This unprofessional behavior and lack of transparency have left me questioning the competence and ethics of Port City Nissan's entire service department. After enduring countless hoops, countless disrespectful encounters, and thousands of dollars invested in a vehicle that should have been a reliable purchase, I have finally reached a point where I can move forward. However, the scars left by this experience will serve as a constant reminder of the perils of doing business with Port City Nissan. What truly compounds my frustration is the realization that Port City Nissan has not only lost my future business but also that of my entire family and extended network. After consulting with my relatives and associates, many of whom have had their own issues with the dealership, we have collectively decided to take our substantial automotive needs elsewhere. Port City Nissan has demonstrated a clear disregard for customers who do not represent a significant financial investment. However, they have failed to recognize that my family and business associates collectively spend tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars on vehicle purchases every few years. By targeting and mistreating me, a seemingly insignificant customer in their eyes, Port City Nissan has effectively severed ties with a vast network of loyal, high-value clients. It is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of regret that I bid farewell to Port City Nissan. Their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, unwillingness to take accountability, and utter lack of professionalism have left an indelible stain on their reputation within my circle. I can only hope that they will learn from this experience and prioritize the needs of all customers, regardless of perceived value, in the future. More
Worth your time - we ended up not buying here as they didn’t have exactly what we were looking for. Dan in particular was awesome! He talked for a while with us about Armada trims, even though he knew didn’t have exactly what we were looking for. Dan in particular was awesome! He talked for a while with us about Armada trims, even though he knew they didn’t have what we were looking for on their lot. We ended up taking that advice and buying it at another local dealer that had what we were looking for (‘22 Armada SL). We liked these guys so much that we came back here to look for another car we were purchasing but they didn’t end up going with the Nissan product this time. More
I have been doing business with the sales side of portcity for a long time. I love them all. My sales guy Mike and sales manager Brian make buying a car very easy. Though this process went very smoot portcity for a long time. I love them all. My sales guy Mike and sales manager Brian make buying a car very easy. Though this process went very smooth and well. I had a problem with the 2021 Nissan Altima SR I just bought in January. I noticed this problem and scheduled an appointment to have it brought in to the dealer ship service center. I brought my car in was told we will update you on what we find, I said great! Late that day I received a call From the service manager telling me unfortunately I had a bigger problem then we originally thought and that it would be safe to drive for now. I then informed them I had brought the car in because I was taking a 400 mile trip in it and I did not want to do more damage. He said oh I would not suggest driving it that far and let me keep the rental car I was in. Next day being Friday I heard nothing about whether my car was going to be ready or if they had a plan to fix it. I let it slide thinking the department might be busy. Saturday comes and still nothing. At noon on Saturday I chose to call and see if the service manager was in so I could get an update. I was met with a service advisor that have no idea what was going on with my car had no way of looking to see if there were any update and was told he would leave a note for the manager to call me as that was who I was working with. I said okay I totally understand but I was annoyed that there was no communication. Sunday the dealership is closed to I waited through Monday and heard nothing after a note to call me was supposedly left. Tuesday come and I call at 5:30 in the afternoon as that is when I get out of work and I was met with another service advisor named Sean and he was fantastic very kind listened to everything that I said and understood where I was coming from. But he could not give any update as he did not know what was going on with my car. Come Wednesday 6 days after my appointment. I get a call from the service advisor telling me that they had to order a part for my car it has come in and will be installed that day. I said great please let me know when it’s done. 2 hours ish later I get another call that the part that was sent was the wrong size and now they are working to find a vender to fix my original part. I said okay it happens please let me know when it is done. Wednesday evening service manager calls. It’s all set come and get it. Great. I get there pick it up drive it home seemed okay but not great. The next morning I leave for work and I’m driving down the road to find that the same problem was happening. The car was not fixed. I called was told to bring it back I did and now the car is supposedly fixed. After all of this. I am very disappointed and concerned that my car isn’t actually fixed. I am disappointed that the communication was horrible that none of the staff could tell me what was going on. And that the service manager could not find the time to call me back I had to call several time to try and speak to him. I’m unimpressed and this whole experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth. More

He asked all of the right questions to figure out what I was looking for in a vehicle and what my approximate price range was. After test driving several vehicles, we were able to find exactly what I wanted. After this, Van helped me finance the frontier and even helped me get a discount on winterizing the undercarriage. It was an overall great experience and I would recommend Port City to anyone who is currently in the market for a new/used car. More

There are dealers who work very hard to earn a customer's long-term business. Then there are dealers who want to sell you all they can today, tomorrow be damned. We purchased a used Murano from this dea long-term business. Then there are dealers who want to sell you all they can today, tomorrow be damned. We purchased a used Murano from this dealership, and their Salesman, "Van". Now this was a car that allegedly needed work before it could be driven or sold. They said they would take care of it all if we bought. We were given a laundry list of big-ticket items it needed, and we are told they were all done. Nearly immediately after the purchase we found another problem, and it too, we are told was fixed. Our Salesman was so content with the car, he told us, in our home, that he was "giving us" a 1-year warranty on powertrain and a 3-month, 3,750-mile complete warranty. He also said he wasn't "good with this paperwork stuff" and all the paperwork would be mailed to us other than the temporary plate certificate and bill of sale. Because there was work to be done, our paperwork was not completed at the dealership, but in our home about 5 days later. The 1-year was to come with a $100 deductible. We were happy. Just before the three month mark we heard noises from the car. Not good ones. This lined up fairly well with Thanksgiving. On the 17th of November, we called the dealer, knowing the warranty would expire on the 23rd. Of course, they had nothing available until after the holiday, the 24th. We personally went into the dealership on the 24th as we had been told this was the first day with an opening, so someone, anyone, could test drive and confirm there was a problem while the warranty existed. Nobody was available, and the soonest they could get it in was the 27th. Sure enough, bad bearing(s) we were told. Parts were to be ordered and would be installed the next day. OK, we thought, that's powertrain, and it is. Well, come to find out we were first told there was no warranty. The Salesman had "just left for the day" (2:30pm). We went home, appointment for the next day made, and pulled out our paperwork, most of which was never sent. The warranty for 12 months suddenly became 3 months, and Ooops, it conveniently expired, even though we brough the issue and car for attention during the warranty period. On the day of the visit, our Salesman, who had previously been friendly and even goofy, would not make eye contact or greet me as many times as he walked right by. The VERY NICE Service Writer told us the best he could do was offer a 50/50 split for "customer satisfaction". The $100 warranty had "expired", even though the problem and vehicle presented during the time it was valid. He did acknowledge that at least. When we bought, we did not negotiate the price much. There was a lot of work to be done, and the warranties were being added in at no cost to us. No cost, as we discovered, because the 12 month did not exist. It was a carrot to make the sale. Similar to the "free vacation" that was offered to us that had costs of, if I recall exactly $699 to use for 3 days 2 nights in FL or LV, places you can book cheaper on your own. My point is, what we were told, and had faith in, wasn't accurate, and has already cost us money we should never have had to spend. I've read the other reviews, and the copy and paste dealer response about giving them contact information so they can discuss it further. I have no interest in this same carbon copy response. We have several "free" services that all customers get coming (2 oil changes, a second sticker, and a rotation). I don't know that we will trust the dealership to even do these, but it certainly is not going to be a place we recommend or buy from moving forward. More

My family and I have been loyal customers of this dealership for nearly 20 years, with my family purchasing multiple vehicles here over the decades. However, my recent experience has completely destr dealership for nearly 20 years, with my family purchasing multiple vehicles here over the decades. However, my recent experience has completely destroyed my trust. I purchased a BMW 3 Series that seemed pristine. Yet within 12 DAYS I experienced a major powertrain failure that left me stranded. When I had the car towed for repairs, they told me it could take WEEKS just to inspect it, despite having warranties. Even worse, they had no loaner vehicles available, leaving me without the transportation I paid for. I was also informed that even if I eventually get a loaner, I would have to start PAYING for it after 5 days - on top of my payments for the broken BMW! This policy is completely unreasonable and negligent. Throughout the process, the service department has been rude and evasive. They never have answers when I call for updates and bounce me around endlessly. I've had to contact the warranty company myself just to get any traction. This terrible experience has put my job at risk, forced me to cancel my daughter's birthday party, and cost me time and money. I will never purchase from this dealership again with such deceptive, unethical business practices. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be pursuing legal action for the poor service, lack of communication, and breach of good faith. Buyers beware! More
