I had a terrific experience with these folks from start to finish.The sales staff was extremely knowledgeable about their vehicles and were very helpful in finding the right model for me.The fianancing department gave me any number of options and then were able to work out a payment situation that I was very comfortable with.The service department is impressive and they strive to make appts. as convenient as possible.I would recommend this group to anyone.Peter Carignan DMD

My Review of Portland Volvo:
Over the years, I have purchased vehicles from other dealers. At a point of transition, I was looking for a safe vehicle, namely a used Volvo for a reasonable price. The service and professionalism of Peter Boroyan was second to none. Peter took the time to truly understand my needs in a vehicle. Humorously, I test drove several and he patiently helped me find the right one. His friendly attitude, low pressure sales manner, helped encourage me to buy the right car for my needs. Several months later, I'm still in awe with the deal I got, the service I get, and the vehicle I am driving. Thank you Peter!

My Review of Portland Volvo:
I bought a car from these guys while living in CT...took the bus to Portland, Scott picked me up in the car. We spent as long as we wanted to going over the car, and Scott was very helpful and knowledgable. Then we went to Josh to finalize the deal. Josh was straightforward and explained everything to us. In less then 15 minutes we were back on the road with our new car and a full tank of gas. It was the best of my 3 out of state car buying experiences I've had. I'd recommend them to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Great job guys!

Prompt response to internet inquiry by Scott resulted in a trip to Portland Volvo the following day. We were met by Scott at the appointed time and then met Ralph and test drove 2 vehicles. Purchased a new 2008 Volvo V-70 station wagon. This is an exceptional dealership.

The only issue was that the vehicle was out of alignment and had to be brought back the next week for an alignment. Therefore I gave quality of work a 4 out of 5. This is the 5th volvo we have purchased from this dealership. The salesmen, managers, finance and repair were all very easy to work with.

My Review of Portland Volvo:
My first time purchasing a vehicle - Michael was an excellent resource for us. There was no pressure, everything was very aboveboard, and I felt that I could trust my sales person, which was most important.

I checked out another Volvo dealership down in MA (which had more volume), but the whole experience there felt very much like the stereotypical salesman experience that one has nightmares about: no one wanted to give a fixed price, the price kept changing, the sales guy acted like a knucklehead trying to juggle multiple customers at once for some reason.

None of that applied at Portland Volvo. It was very laid back and friendly. Whether it is my perception or the reality , I think I got great value for the price I paid.

Can't speak to the quality of work at the dealership since I just purchased the car, but the dealership looks very professional, and I know they have a fleet of loaner cars too.
