We were there to buy a car for our daughter and that went so well, we decided to have Kirk look for a car for us. We had a specific type of car and parameters for it and there wasn't one on the lot that we loved. So Kirk called around on a car we had seen on the Power website but that wasn't a possibility. When we came back from lunch he had taken an xterra in and let us drive it. He said he had a similar one on another lot about an hour away with less miles and a couple years newer. Sold! He got the car to Corvallis fairly quickly and meanwhile we completed the paperwork contingent on us liking the red xterra. I was impressed with his ability to find the perfect car for my college age daughter and then my husband and I. He went out of his way to make it all work out for us financially. I felt comfortable and I did not feel pushed into buying something I cannot afford and although he offered maintenance and other packages to add to our deal he did not push us into accepting. We did purchase the extended service agreement though and I am glad I did as my local mechanic told me it is one of the best. In addition, my daughter had an issue with learning to use some of the features of the car a couple days later (we live about 3 hours away) and when I called the dealership Kirk wasn't there but Tony was and told me that she could just stop by anytime and they would show her whatever she needed. They did and fixed a minor issue with the dome light and then washed the car for her!! I am impressed with the positive attitude of everyone there and their willingness to help even after we purchased the vehicles. I was dreading the experience but it turned out very posititive and I would absolutely buy a car there again even though I live 3 hours away!

The staff is so friendly, Kirk went out of his way to make sure that me and my family was satisfied with the experience. The process was quick and really easy and he made sure that we understood everything thoroughly. It didn't take long at all to find a car that I was happy with! I showed up on the lot to look for a "new to me" used vehicle in good condition and in a price I could afford. Luke helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I was treated with friendliness and respect and felt like I was truly being helped along every step of the way. Every question was answered and all help and care was given in my pursuit for a vehicle. I left happy and knowing I had received what I had come there to get. We gave high makers for the great experience we had purchasing our new vehicle. It was overall just a really great experience. From start to finish Kirk our salesman provided professional, relaxed, and unhurried service. He gave us ample time to test drive and we didn't feel like we were getting a high pressure sales pitch. We felt the price was fair for our used car and liked that we didn't have to go back and forth on a price for the car.

Hi! I had a great experience at Power. First of all, they were open on Sunday, which, for me, made all the difference. I went to 2 other lots that day, but they were closed, and the trucks I wanted to drive there, were all locked up. Luke came out and met me right away in the lot, and after a few questions took me to a couple of trucks that fit my criteria (except for color - but what can you do!).

Anyway, there was the usual "I have to go to my manager" stuff that I've come to expect when buying a car, but I had done my research and knew what the truck I was buying was listed for on KB, as well as my own rig. Power gave me a very fair deal and I think they were happy, and I was happy when all was said and done.

My only complaint is with the detailing of the vehicle. Whaterver cleaner they used on the window left a smear that nearly blinded me on my drive home directly into the setting western sun. Also, the interior console still had some stains and mold that I need to get a Q-Tip on to clean out. The vehicle overall was clean, but it just was the details that could have been just a bit sharper.

I hope I can recommend Power to my friends, and I will tell them to go see Luke. He is a great guy, not a pushy salesman type, earnest and kind. He was easy to talk to, and did a great job building rapport. He made me want to buy a car from him, and I didn't feel "slimy" afterward like I've experienced at other dealerships. He should go far!

I HIGHLY recommed Power Auto Center in Corvallis Oregon if your looking for a new or used vehicle.
Kirk Murphy was not only as freindly as they come, he went out of his way to put me in the vehicle I really wanted and not just the one I was going to settle for.
Kirk not only went out of his way to come get me at my house (out in the boonies - because my prior vehicle would not start) he knew that I was uncomfortable driving in the city of Corvallis and drove me to the gas station to fill the tank before I went home....now thats what I call service!
If you live in, around or near Corvallis and your looking for a new (or new-to-you) car or truck, you would be doing yourself a favor if you go visit Kirk at Power Auto Center.

I bought an 89 Buick from these guys recently. The customer service is excellent! Very friendly sales people, and they were much easier to deal with than most car salesmen I've dealt with in the past. I would DEFINITELY recommend shopping for cars here. A couple of days after purchasing my car, I locked my keys in the car and they came out to my location and got into the car for me, free of charge. Seriously, good people that seem to really care about giving customers the best car shopping experience possible :)
