My Review Of Premier Toyota Scion:
I gave the highest rating possible for Premier Toyota because the employees I met with went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I shopped around for other cars: Nissan, Ford, and Hyundai. None of the other local dealerships matched the quality of service provided by Premier Toyota.
I initially met with John Baughman when I first began browsing on the lot. He was excellent--extremely friendly and helpful. At no time did I feel pressured to make a purchase, nor did I feel that I was annoying him (like I felt when I went to the Nissan dealership). He asked me questions in a very friendly, pleasant and cordial manner, uncovering my needs/wants in my vehicle purchase. When we went inside to further discuss my vehicle interests, he was paged during the middle of our conversation. He continued talking with me about my vehicle. The page did not even phase him. So my mother (who was with me at the time) said "John, do you need to take that page." I will never forget his response. He said, "that page can wait; right now, you are the two most important people in my life." At that point, he had me sold. Never in my years has someone been so customer focused. A+
After meeting with John, he directed me to Paul Owens. Paul was the main employee that I dealt with during my time at Premier Toyota. Paul was outstanding. The proof is in the pudding because he sold me a Toyota Rav 4. Interacting with Paul was a true pleasure. He was very friendly, cordial, knowledgeable, and helpful when discussing my choice of vehicle. He at no time was pushy, demanding, or made me feel uncomfortable. He was very collaborative and cooperative. We discussed my finances and vehicle interest. He approached the interaction, not as "just trying to sell me a car," but instead as an advisor, trying to see if his product(s) can meet my needs. This impressed me a lot. He was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles sold at Premier Toyota. When I decided on the make/model Rav 4, there were none in stock with the color that I wanted. So Paul, again, went above and beyond and sent me a video text message of a Rav 4 that was not the model I was going to purchase, but the color I wanted. He sent it to me just so I can get an idea of a color choice. When I received the text message, I was speechless. I have never had someone take such a caring, personalized touch to sales. I was showing people the video at work. My co-workers were also impressed with his personalized, customer-oriented approach. A+
I met with Ernie after I made the purchase of my Toyota Rav 4. He, too, was extremely friendly, cordial, and interested in me as a customer. He chatted with me while Paul was putting together some paperwork for my vehicle purchase. I was chatting with him about an event coming up at work. The following week, when I came in to meet with Paul again, Ernie came up to me, remembered me, and asked me about my event at work. Again, I was extremely impressed that not only did he remember me, but remembered our conversation and the details of my life. A+
In short, Premier Toyota and the 3 individuals I met with during my purchase took the sales profession to a completely different level. They were friendly, cordial, professional, cooperative, and made you (the customer) their central focus. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at Premier Toyota and the quality of service provided by John, Paul, and Ernie.
I will be coming back to Premier for my next vehicle purchase, without a doubt. A+++
