Dragging me in for a 30-to-40-minute drive just to get basic information was bad enough, but what followed was completely unacceptable. Before handing over a $2,000 deposit on the 17th, we established a clear deal: the deposit would hold the car while it got serviced. Once finished, I would test drive it to see how the repair went. Yes, I openly voiced some doubts about the vehicle's price and condition, but the explicit agreement was that my deposit held the car so I could evaluate it after it was properly fixed. If I still didn't like it post-service, I could take my deposit back. Nobody here is on the same page. One staff member tells you one down payment requirement, and another gives you a completely different number. I was confirmed via text that paying by check was fine, only to be told later by someone else that they couldn't accept a check. The most unprofessional part happened today. I spent the entire week communicating with them daily—trying to line up schedules, securing car insurance, and discussing financing. Even with doubts, I was actively moving forward to see how the car was fixed per our agreement. They told me to come in between 9–10 AM today. Twenty minutes later, they claimed it needed another repair because they ordered the wrong part (a steering shaft), and then dropped the bombshell: they sold the car to someone else. It is completely wrong that not a single person had the courtesy to inform me they were backing out or selling the car to someone else—especially while holding my $2,000 deposit and speaking with me every single day. I wasted endless hours driving back and forth, burned a day off work, and dealt with constant misinformation More
