We were dealing from a distance on a 2023 Lincoln Aviator. We got to the point where we wanted to drive and look at it. The purchase was pretty certain. I told the salesperson on Saturday that we couldn't make it until Monday. I was told it would be put on hold. Monday morning I was called and told someone had put money down that morning, so it was no longer available. Evidently the word "hold" meant absolutely nothing. We had rearranged our week to make the trip. I also called an left a message with the sales manager who didn't call back. Absolutely no excuse for running a business this way. More
