I went in for an oil change after i paid the cashier the appointment manager comes up to me asking if i was new in town or did i just move here and what year was my vehicle and where did i buy it, I quess h appointment manager comes up to me asking if i was new in town or did i just move here and what year was my vehicle and where did i buy it, I quess he was trying to break the ice, he ask me to come out and start the vehicle i thought he was going to make sure everything was done o.k. the next thing i know he ask me if he could make Reeder my dealer of choice and register my vehicle with them,i said it was already registered with West Chevrolet were i bought the vehicle new in 2020 then he proceeds to start playing with my OnStar button,and wants to give me an OnStar free trial for month, i said No that i already went through that when i bought the vehicle new in 2020 and that i did not want it free or other wise,the next thing i know he has me talking to someone on OnStar asking me all kinds of questions i told the woman that all i came in for was an oil change not to be aggravated by all this bulll xxxx,so i pressed the End Call button.It seemed obvious to me, that he put me down as a new car buyer so he can activate the OnStar system and try to get me to subscribe to OnStar so he can get some type of kickback money. to me this is no different than a Scam. i need not say that i will not be going back there again if if i have to pay more money somewhere else. More

Why is Reeder still charging anywhere from 3k to 10k over the MSRP in December 2022. Most chevy dealers in East TN are now at MSRP or slightly below. Example, Carlen Chevy in Cookeville TN is a very small de the MSRP in December 2022. Most chevy dealers in East TN are now at MSRP or slightly below. Example, Carlen Chevy in Cookeville TN is a very small dealership that since day one of the "chip shortage" has chosen to sell at MSRP. A bigger dealership (Beaty) also sells at MSRP. Think about this the next time anyone buys a car from Reeder, you are paying sales tax on that 3k to 10k over the sticker price. I have bought no less than 4 new vehicles from Reeder since the 80's, however, I will never buy another one. The sales people have an attitude!. Service is terrible. I bought a 2021 1500 trail boss new years eve. It has now 5000 miles on it and I'm setting on the side of the road for the second time waiting on a tow truck. Reeder Chevrolet’s Auto-body shop is fantastic. I rarely review services however; these guys were amazing. My 2022 Corvette was taken into the facility in November of 21. Despite the supply chain problems, they sourced the parts and did a superb job on the repair. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to this facility. They went above and beyond for me and I didn’t even buy the car there. They coordinated a weekend delivery, sourced parts efficiently, and i really appreciated the communication I received. With respect to the repair, all the gaps between the hood, fenders, and bumper were even. From my limited knowledge of auto body repair, this is how you can measure a quality repair job. The paint matched perfectly. If you have the misfortune of needing a repair, they are an excellent choice. More
