Greg continues to follow up with us and went above and beyond to help us. Even pulled out his own money to buy us a soda... "You're a guest in my house" he says. Even though all the $$ and numbers was a little scary Greg made us feel comfortable More

Pulled a spot-delivery-scam on me. Sales person finally admitted they never had financing for me when I took the car, and they were in fact doing a spot-delivery-scam. After trying to change the deal for the third time, I ended up taking my old car back. If you buy from here, make sure you have pre-approved financing from a bank. More

Due to the fact this was a spur of the moment decision,I had to go home and unlock/unfreeze my credit reports which is fine. I'm VERY diligent about my credit. After the pulling of my reports I was under the assumption that I was approved. My credit scores are excellent across the board so I had no reason to believe there was a problem. Imagine my surprise when I get a letter from a credit union saying I wasn't approved. The fact that I had to inform the finance department vs them telling me should've been my first clue.I made it clear I will return their car and take my fully loaded 2013 EX back. I'm not emotionally attached to cars. I was assured a deal can happen if I have a cosigner. I have bought three brand new cars in my own name with slightly lower credit scores and NEVER needed a cosigner. I again offered to return the car because I feel like I have had to babysit the whole financing process. Well now that the car is hopefully financed, there's another problem that shouldn't have been overlooked. Due to the delay in financing my temp plates expired 12/24/2016 so I can't drive my car. I again had to initiate contact about this. I was told on Thursday 12/29/2016, my tags would be over nighted and to expect them on 12/30/2016. As I'm writing this, it's New Years Day and I don't have my plates. I'm pretty sure there's tracking numbers on over night deliveries. A simple follow up after I informed them the plates didn't come would've been nice. I've heard nothing. Every time I call, I'm transferred and I'm tired of voicemails and constantly having to babysit. I've had plenty of experience purchasing cars and this one is my WORST. Regardless of what's going on, you follow up within 24 hours and make sure your customer service is on point every time. I had to constantly initiate contact which is not something I'm used to nor should I be. While getting the car was enjoyable (Sam was a patient salesman) babysitting the finance process has been annoying. Based on these things alone, I will not trade in or purchase a car at Regal again because I feel like while it was so easy to give me the car, the communication regarding the financing was lacking and that's not good business. Communication is important and can make/break a referral, in this case lack of communication broke it. It's unfortunate because had I just had to rate Sam, I would've given five stars but getting the car is only the initial step. Seeing the deal through till the end is the other part. More
Throw back to old, offensive ways. wouldn't return on a dare Based on the ratings, I must be the oddball. But I thought that the “games” of the 20th century in car buying were largely out of date. At Regal Kia Based on the ratings, I must be the oddball. But I thought that the “games” of the 20th century in car buying were largely out of date. At Regal Kia the “good cop, bad cop”, tricks of the trade, what we used to expect as 'typical' car sales shenanigans still reign supreme. In case it's not clear, I would not set foot there again if they paid me. I am a logical, not emotional, car buyer. I came in with a set of requests, many of which I doubted would be met, but heck, I asked. I am not used to buying cars with payments, so I told the sales person what my target was, and pretty much what kind of room there might be. I also said that if they couldn't do a deal that met my expectations to say so up front, and save us all time. Two hours later, the 'monthly payment' they offered (no indication of interest rate, by the way, and I didn't bother to run the amortization myself) was close to three times my max. When I reminded the salesman of my top amount, he asked me to sign that I would “take the car” at that price / term “if the manager can make it work”. I said I would, but I chose to leave instead. If, in fact, they could reach my terms after taking up two hours, they could have done it on the first go. I was offended. We had told them we did not want to play salesman / manager games. They did anyway. And as I was driving off the lot, with the salesman standing on the pavement, a person who likely was “the manager” walked towards my car and asked how I was doing, and as I drove I replied “not too well after that”, and he yelled as I continued driving away. Really. No respect. No integrity. Nothing but “car sales games”. I was OK not being able to get the deal I wanted. I was OK not buying the car. I was not OK with the games and wasted time. This is the 21st century. Really. More

Christmas came early! I have had my 2012 Kia Soul for a couple years now and my key-fob was pretty used when I purchased, and my wife wanted one for herself just in case. S I have had my 2012 Kia Soul for a couple years now and my key-fob was pretty used when I purchased, and my wife wanted one for herself just in case. So I asked the salesman (Spasso) and he said he would look into it to see if that was the only key-fob that was given during the trade, anyway, fast forward to 2015 and 2016, I was noticing some real wear and tear on my key-fob as the buttons were completely worn off and I had to black tape a thumbtack to make one of the buttons function. Anyway, it finally broke completely and would not work, so I contacted Regal Kia and they asked my vin and long story short, it was going to be $250 to replace the key-fob. Wow! So i was thinking, well I wonder why the salesman didn't get back to me about whether this was the only fob that was given. So I got pretty angry after shopping around for an alternative, and being told only the dealer can make this kind of key! UGH! So I went online and contacted the dealer with my anger as to the salesman didn't get back to me and I would never buy from Regal AGAIN after buying two cars from them...RANT RANT RANT! I was infuriated by the time I was done with the email. So I waited through the weekend, and thought, my angry-ram fell on Deaf ears, but then I go a phone call, and an email from Meagan S. with internet marketing and sales. She had done the footwork for me, approved it by the GM and they were replacing my broken fob with a new one for FREE to keep us as happy customers..after all we purchased two vehicles within a month from this dealership and most recently purchased a Kia Forte from them, so we were hooked on this dealership! So long story short, two days later, I went ands got my new fob and they washed my car while I was there! I was happy again with my dealership, and since it was around Christmas 2016, I figure Santa helped in this Christmas miracle, because they didn't HAVE to do what they did, but they wanted to make sure I was happy, no matter what! I would HIGHLY recommend Regal Kia in Lakeland for any vehicle you may want! #customers4life More
