Well this is rather a lengthy report so bare with me. My wife and I went in to purchase a '04 Hyundai Sante Fe that we saw on the internet for a super deal. We meet up with the salesman at the dealership wh wife and I went in to purchase a '04 Hyundai Sante Fe that we saw on the internet for a super deal. We meet up with the salesman at the dealership who went to get the vechile and bring it to the front for us to test drive it. We hopped in and found that the fuel light was on with the warning chime. After telling the salesman who was detailing our trade-in, we went to a gas station where he only filled the vechile to half tank. We returned to the dealership to drop off the salesman to continue with our test drive. No problems on the test drive. In our paperwork, the dealer did not give us the internet price which was approx. 1700 less than the invoice price. The salesman commented on how he forgot and made the correction. We did not get full value of our trade-in which was a toyota product but at less they accepted the vechile. In the finance dept. the lady closing our paperwork tried to push an extendend warranty on us with a vechile that already has warranty left on it. Hyundai's bumper to bumper warranty is 5yrs./60,000miles for second owners. She said it was 50,000 miles which the vechile we was purchasing had 40,000 miles on it. She was in error, so I declined the extendend warranty offer since she could not get her facts right. I would admit that everyone at the dealer was friendly and we got a awesome suv for a super deal off the internet, but I would tell everyone to do your research. I was expecting a hassale free experience, but got the typical dealer games. If you can get finacing thur your bank, do it. They tried to give me 14% interest when my bank offers 5.75%. I don't recommend these guys because in stead of being fair and professional they tried while acting forgetful to screw us out of thousands. If anyone goes to this dealer their internet pricing is awesome, but go in well prepared and with a full stomach, we spent almost 4 hrs. there. For any pre-owned vehicle you see on the internet don't forget to print out the price and vehicle info and present it immediately to the sales person. Good Luck everyone! More
