Sunday morning after church, I went in to the Rick Case KIA at Gwinnett Place in Duluth, GA. My mission- to educate myself and test drive a ‘KIA Soul’ that was safe, unique/attractive, and would accommodate and not strain further my financial situation. I never knew I would find much more. Honestly, upon arriving, I was afraid, I was terrified that the car salesmen would look at me as a “commission”, “another ignorant/ inexperienced woman”, and I would be in the company of a fast talking, gimmicky, overly energetic car salesman… To my amazement, there I met a genuine, friendly, and caring sales representative named, Carter Collins. Almost immediately he sets my mind at ease. I was assured that he would not force nor pressure me into any purchase, and that he was there to be a friend and guide me through a relaxed process of selecting a car that would be best for me and my girls. I genuinely felt he was “on my side” and still do. Myself, I work at Brookstone and as the Asst. Manager, it is my job is to sell/ demonstrate products, which is easy for I have a very friendly personality and I have a enhanced natural ability to read people, I’m also sensitive to facial expressions, body language, and vocal tones. This gives me an ability to read and relate to anyone. But being on the other side of a sell and acting as a customer on this day, I was admittedly defensive since I was the one trying to be convinced for a sale. This is why I am still honestly astonished on how quickly and felt I could let my guard down to make a series of decisions with little or no tension. During the sales process, I was thoroughly informed about all aspects of the vehicle and all services that KIA had to offer. I was able to open up about my life and share my recent difficult experience with an abusive partner, and why I had moved from London, UK to the USA to be with my family. He was so understanding and in turn, he shared his experiences with me, and offered support and emphasized with my situations. Carter Collins is not only a very sincere person, and dedicated salesman, but he is also a very talented ballet singer. He went as far and to sing ‘Frank Sinatra’ to me during my test drive, he made me feel as if I was in a movie! He assured me that if I were to trust him and act today, he would make sure I get the best deal possible, and even one that a single mother would be happy with and could afford! I trusted Collins, and went on to speak Chase Channell, Finance Manager, about purchasing the vehicle. Needless to say, he too was also friendly, handsome, intelligent, very cooperative and understanding. And after a while of negotiating and debating. My mother and I co-signed a 2011 KIA Soul and I emotionally walked out the dealership with my girls, a fantastic deal, a brand new car, and best of all 2 new friends. I love my KIA Soul! And I felt it gravely necessary to recognize and show my appreciation to all those involved in my car buying process, namely, Carter Collins & Chase Channell by writing this extensive customer feedback review. We went to Rick Case Kia and purchased my husband's gently used car. We worked with the nicest lady, Tamara Anthony. Once we had decided on the car, we were introduced to another salesman, Reginald Love, who together with Tamara helped us negotiate with the general manager to get what we felt was fair from our two trade ins. We paid the asking price for the car we purchased, because after looking at the same car, both new and used on other lots and pulling the Carfax, we felt that they had priced the "newly used" car at a fair price. This is a great dealership. It is a small dealership and has more of a family friendly feel without all the hype and pressure. Their finance guy, Chase and another nice gentleman (can't remember his name) were very professional also. Who ever is doing the hiring at Rick Case Kia is doing a great job. I worked in Human Resources for years and it's nice to know that there are good people out there. Not all dealerships are like this one. We went to several other dealerships and the general managers were cocky and the salesmen were "slick." My husband and I are in our late 40's and we have purchase probably 15 cars over the last 27 years. We weren't interested in playing games and Rick Case Kia seemed to understand!!! More
We were looking for a replacement car for my daughter; she had seen exactly what she was looking for on line at this dealership. We called to inquire; it was OUR lucky day that Drew took the call. He worked with us for a couple of days regarding this car, that turned out to NOT be for sale. Anyway, my daughter and I went to the dealership; Drew was good enough to take us to all 4 of their stores, showing us what was available. One of the 4 needs to take a class on 'customer service'..WE did not consider $10,500 a 'cheap car' and did not appreciate his condescending attitude. Drew was great - turns out they did NOT have something that would work for us, BUT would highly recommend DREW is you are car looking. I 'do' wish all cars had prices CLEARLY listed on them - it was QUITE frustrating to have to stop and have someone look up a price. More
Reggie Love is not only a stellar car salesman, he is a stellar PERSON. He works very hard to get the customer exactly what they want. Reggie never asked me what I wanted to pay per month and he never want to look at my credit prematurely. He basically wanted to make sure I felt comfortable with what I was getting and NEVER hid any cost in the vehicle price. As for Chase Channell...absolutely the BEST at what he does. He made sure I had a top notch all around vehicle warranty and service warranty they had to offer. Chase said many times, "I'm not worried about making Rick Case money, he has enough, the customer is our friend." I had a wonderful experience dealing with the staff at Gwinnett Place Kia. I ABSOLUTELY WILL purchase my next vehicle from them and I will recommend them to my family and friends!!! More
With the price of fuel now of days, we are looking for a vehicle that gets great MPG. Even though we were not able to make a deal for us the people at Rick Case KIA went above and over trying to help us into a new KIA. If things get better soon we will be back. The finance manager Chase Channell and GM Ivy where great working with us...Even though Andrew was fairly new with Rick Case KIA he made sure of finding out the correct info on anything that we had questions own. With the Rick Case 200,000 miles warranty it should be no reason why someone should not use their Dealership. When we went to Rick Case KIA on Pleasant Hill Road in Deluth,Georgia we were greeted with the up most warmth with no push or shove, great personality, attitude and expression of our needs and complete satisfaction. The service they gave us, sales, financial & manager actually went beound the call of duty. It is very evident that a customer happiness was a #1 Priority. With both of us retired and the Rick Case 3 day try out of the Vehicle and helped us with our decision at this time...The KIA warranty and Rick Case 200,000 mile added warranty can not be beat by any dealership... Once again, thanks to Andrew Frison, Chase Channell and GM Ivy. Hope to do business with Rick Case KIA soon. They send me coupons in the mail to get my maintenance at low cost and text/email me with reminders when maintenance is due so I won't forget. Today, Kerry Han was the ultimate professional and provided me with a coupon for a free car wash right down the street which was excellent as well. This dealership is absolutely the best one I've ever conducted business with. More
Rick Case was recommended to me by a co-worker. I had never thought of purchasing a Kia before as I had always been a Honda girl. The next morning I went in for a test drive after seeing the reviews in the Consumer Reports and immediately fell in love with it!
