Rotten Service These people are rotten to the core. They make Demons look like they have good character compared to them. Even a $35 oil change turns into a $3500 These people are rotten to the core. They make Demons look like they have good character compared to them. Even a $35 oil change turns into a $3500 repair. My Dad is elderly and took my sisters Camry in for an oil change and they kept finding more and more wrong with the car. They would talk for 30 minutes until they could badger him into agreeing to do one repair and before we could watch a football game they would call again to inform him they found another needed repair. My Dad is elderly and they treated him like a sucker. He believes in kindness and goodness in people and they took full advantage of his good opinion of people. He does not have the kind of income to deal with this level of theft and evil and they could care less. How much can we get out of this guy is all that mattered to them. These are horrible horrible despicable rotten no good demons. They ripped off my father but I hope this review warns people away from repeating my familys mistakes. More

My grandfather told me that he always trusted them and felt he was getting a good deal on his vehicles. Many years later I have found myself buying my Toyota vehicles there as well. I have personally purchased two new Tundras and a new Sienna from them since 2012 and all purchases have been painless and actually enjoyable. I live in Nashville and drive an hour to buy my Toyota's there - absolutely no comparison with the Nashville dealers. The Roberts family runs a great family owned dealership and I recommend anyone shopping for a new Toyota to check them out. More

On Almost two weeks ago, I began searching for a new Toyota Camry. All total, I had conversations with five different dealerships in middle Tennessee. Only one went out of their way to offer me excellent customer service, a great deal, and the best car buying experience I've ever had: Roberts Toyota. Thanks Catherine Roberts, Erin Phelps Smith, Spencer Dudley, and Mike Milligan for your incredible service. I love my new Camry! More
Shady sales practices Meaning less inspections Dishonest Sales management Unethical pre sale practices This will be a long review so for those of you who just wan Meaning less inspections Dishonest Sales management Unethical pre sale practices This will be a long review so for those of you who just want to know if I would shop at Roberts Toyota I would have to say No. When I first entered the lot I was greeted quickly enough, we started the process of test driving a car that was in my price range and close to what I want. The discussion of a CarFax came up, we reviewed the repair history of the car. Everything on the CarFax was clean. The sales rep brought up the 72 point inspection that Roberts Toyota does them self. This was discussed at length. The sales rep spelled out how the inspection works and painted a picture that this inspection would catch any major issues so I need not worry. So I purchased the car after a brief test drive. I drove home without issue, the next morning was another story. I got in the car to drive to work and the belt let out a short squeal that I assumed was a loose belt. That night when I started the car to leave for work the squeal was longer and louder. I was still assuming it was a belt. After 3 days the squeal started to happen not only when starting the car but while driving, there was not a rattle like a bearing burning out and the battery light was coming on. I returned to Roberts where I talked to Spencer the sales manager, he took me to the service center and assured me he would do everything he could to make this right. Spencer told me his tech though it was an idler pulley and told me to come back next week to have it replaced. I went home and inspected the car myself; there isn't an idler pulley on the car. I return to have the car worked on the next week and the service center confirmed my feeling that the alternator was going out. The Service tech also advised me that the 72 point inspection that was so detailed that I wouldn't have any issue has uncovered issues with the water pump, battery and alternator but the sale department didn't want to repair it before sale. So I no own a car that Roberts refuses to fix even though their 72 point inspection flagged the issue and they choose not to fix it. I would never purchase anything from this place again, nor would I send anyone there to buy a car More
Had a quote for work done on my Sequoia in their shop. They said they would look it up and call me back. When they quoted it, they stated $900 for a V-8 and $700 for a V-6. All Sequoia's in my year came with the same V8 engine. I asked them what the standard labor hours were for the repair, and they didnt even know. They didn't even bother to look it up. I call another Toyota Dealer and got the price of $479.99 out the door, parts, labor and tax included. Get a second opinion before you have work done here. More
The salesperson James told me anything and everything to get me down to the dealership. We had agreed on a price but magically the price went up about $1900 with fees and some package that consisted of ext get me down to the dealership. We had agreed on a price but magically the price went up about $1900 with fees and some package that consisted of exterior wax, wheel locks, and nitrogen in tires. I specifically asked him about any hidden fees or expenses to sell the vehicle and he said " nope, we're not Beaman, what you see is what you get". I am of middle eastern decent and when I arrived I could tell James looked very nervous and was very short with me. When I Showed his manager the emails where he quoted me a final price, they both said that the price didn't include THEIR fees. I got up to walk out and James told me I was a fool to not buy this car. He then said "if that's too much car than we can look at a used Prius instead of a new one". He was very insulting and acted as if he held a prejudice about my decent. I honestly don't think James knew the car and the equipment it had on it, or rather he just was quoting the wrong vehicle because the price was over MSRP which they hit me with once I arrived. They were also trying to keep the rebate and make me sign a form that said I was giving rebate to dealer......very unethical! I bought my vehicle from Cool Springs where I was treated very well and had a great buying experience. I would never go to Roberts Toyota to purchase anything, not even to get my service done due their inabilities to provide any type of customer service. More
Bought a Toyota used car from them, they sold it with mechanical problems , they knew about them and hide it, we asked them few times if the cars was owned by a person and we were told yes, guess what af mechanical problems , they knew about them and hide it, we asked them few times if the cars was owned by a person and we were told yes, guess what after we got the car title in the mail the car was a rental car from Heartz. We saved up for this familly car and end up buying a vehicle that requires $4800 in fix up at our local Toyota dealer...DO NOT BUY FROM ROBERTS TOYOTA, especially stay away from a salesman Larry, they lie to you from salesman to manager to financial guy...so unfortunate that businesses like this one are still arround. They trap you with their prices and you end up paying a lot more at the end... More

This dealership is unique in that you don't get the normal high pressure sales tactics you find in other dealers. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities are first rate. I have bought 2 Camrys from this dealership. They want to talk about Toyotas holding their value but wait until you have a Toyota to trade-in. For some reason your trade-in has not held its value. A to talk about Toyotas holding their value but wait until you have a Toyota to trade-in. For some reason your trade-in has not held its value. Also, who would pay $17,995 for a 2005 Camry LE even if it does just have just 37K miles! It is 4 years old now! This car is on their website as of 4/24/2008. And yeah, believe it or not KBB says they are not far out of line. We need to throw KBB out the window. They are on the dealer side now. We need a dealership that doesn't play games and try to make enormous amounts of money on cars that are just really average now since 2006. Follow Dave Ramsey's advice "Never buy a new car!" or added to what he says - never buy an overpriced used car. More
