This dealership will invent repairs for astronomical money. Very shady and untrustworthy. They will try to rip you off. This is the email I sent to the dealer customer service rep detailing my experienc money. Very shady and untrustworthy. They will try to rip you off. This is the email I sent to the dealer customer service rep detailing my experience. Good morning Vic, I have purchased a brand new 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude and a brand new 2021 Dodge Durango RT from this dealership as well as my stepson purchasing a brand new Jeep Wrangler and a used Dodge Durango. This was my first experience with the service department. I can say from word of mouth I have heard nothing but bad things and my experience was no different. I brought my 2021 Dodge Durango in for two recalls, a check engine light and high beams that would not turn off when a car was approaching from the opposite way. I tried to make an appointment a few months ago but was told I would not be offered a loaner car and had to pay $300 if the repair was not covered. I was not too happy about being denied a loaner car since I only have one car and two of the issues were recalls. I had to wait to have it repaired until I brought it in last Friday May 3. I dropped the truck at 7:30 AM and heard nothing about the repair all day so I decided to call at around 2:30 PM. After calling every extension twice, someone finally picked up the phone. They got my representative Kevin Bishop on the phone. He had no clue what was going on so he said he would call me back in 30-45 minutes. 2 hours later, I decided to call back and went through the same nonsense to get him on the phone. I was told by him the whole intake system was dismantled and the sensor was missing. The cold air intake is a KN Cold Air Intake, the same exact one as the Mopar cold air intake. It even says on the web site it will not void the warranty(attached.) The only thing that could have possibly happened is the hose clamp loosened where it attaches to the throttle body and the hose disconnected and somehow the sensor came out. I asked Kevin how much it would cost to fix and I was told $1,600. I was told everything needed to be replaced. Now I would be ripped off and have no car for the weekend. I knew the intake system was in perfect shape. I asked for just the sensor to be replaced, a $20 part that took me literally 3 minutes to replace on Sunday morning. I was told this could not be done. I told him to put whatever he took apart back together and I would pick up the vehicle. I was forced to pay over $300 and my vehicle wasn’t even fixed. I’m well aware these people are paid commission for the repairs they sell so I’m sure this $1,600 sham repair would have been a nice easy pay day. I heard on the phone message that I listened to 20+ times while trying to get someone on the phone that this dealership was under a new ownership. I hope this is not how you plan on doing business because word of mouth is a lot more costly than a conman trying to sell a fake job for $1600. My vehicle is fixed no thanks to the “tech” and the “representative.” It cost me $20 for what I was told was a $1600 “job.” I have spent a lot of money in this dealership and to say I’m pissed is an understatement. This was the feeble response: Mike, Unfortunately, the dealer cannot warranty nor cover an aftermarket part...I suggest you talk to whoever installed it. Vic Niosi More
