My Review of Rusty Wallis Volkswagen:
Absolutely the best car leasing experience that I have ever had. Zero pressure, happy employees, respectable, courteous and professional. Scott Pittenger bent over backwards to win my business. He even drove a demo vehicle to my work, so that I could have an additional opportunity to see a different option level of a Tiguan.
Upon showing up at the dealership, door opened for me, welcomed, and asked if I could be helped. An additional demo car was waiting for me to drive around, and help make my decision on packaging. No salesman jumping in the car with me, simply a pass over of the keys, and watch out for the mesquite police whom likes to wait around the corner for test drivers. Took the vehicle out for about 20 minutes of highway, side street, and access road driving.
Straight shooting numbers from the finance group, divulging invoice pricing, and package differences between the three different levels of Tiguans. No run around on trade in value, and a direct approach to what me as the customer was looking for.
Time to sit down with the finance manager - was waiting for all the pitches about add-ons, extended warranties, etc. John simply asked me if I was interested in any of those items and didn't try to bring them back into the conversation when I said I didn't. Deal closed in less than an hour, with all paperwork filled out and new car keys in my hand.
I was invited back (since I was running off to dinner with the family) on Monday to have any additional questions answered, options set in the vehicle, and to have my mats upgraded in the vehicle.
Scott Pittenger did what a real car salesman should do. He wasn't worried about the sale, he was worried about me getting into a car that worked for my family requirements, and budget constraints.
ABSOLUTELY A GREAT BUYING EXPERIENCE. KUDOS TO THIS DEALERSHIP.
